Node.js Team Leader Offline

Skills:

Proven experience with JavaScript;

3+ years of experience developing software as a Node.js Developer;

2+ years of experience leading engineering teams;

Production experience with MongoDB (+ Mongoose), RabbitMQ

Extensive experience with Git;

Experience with CI/CD;

Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application;

Understanding and experience in building REST API;

Verbal and written English communication skills;

A self-starter with minimal supervision;

Task management and planning;

Analytical problem-solving skills;

Ability to work from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m.

As a Plus:

Experience in architecture and design of large-scale scalable and high performance web production systems

Ability to provide the most efficient technical solutions from an architectural point of view

Ability to make and deliver on commitments.

Experience with Containers like Kubernetes or Docker

Main Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 engineers.

Lead designs & decision making processes of the team.

Collaborate with Project Manager, and other Team Leaders to plan and implement an efficient and effective development process.

Defining strategy of task distribution to ensure high velocity and optimal team load.

Design, code and manage large scale, highly available services using cutting edge technologies

Perform analysis, verification, and debugging of the software code
