About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who can go beyond standard test automation and apply AI to improve and scale QA processes.

This is a hands-on role where you will own QA from scratch and build automation that reduces manual effort — including leveraging LLMs in real workflows.

You will be the sole QA engineer, working closely with developers on an AI-powered product.

What You’ll Do

AI Automation Experience (Required)

We are specifically looking for hands-on experience applying AI in real workflows, not just using coding assistants.

Examples of relevant experience:

• Integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into automation pipelines
• Generating test cases or test data using AI
• Analyzing logs, test results, or failures with LLMs
• Building scripts or tools where AI helps make decisions or reduce manual QA work

Important:
Using tools like Copilot, Cursor, or ChatGPT as assistants is not sufficient.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior Automation QA Engineer (Python) to join our team in Lviv!

What You'll get to do:

• Understand and discuss business requirements along with the Team Leader, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other parties involved.
• Responsible for the entire testing activity: from building the test framework to test execution, from gap analysis of the existing solutions to extending those according to the project requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Functional & Non-Functional scenarios.
• Creating, maintaining, and reporting upon Regression Test suites.
• Define and establish an automation strategy and process for Web Applications (mostly Back End).
• Creating Test Plans according to internal procedures.

What You need to know:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Automation testing (Backend side) on Python, Pytest.
• Experience in working closely with the development team when performing testing activities as part of the same team.
• Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools, preferably TestRail Jira.
• Familiar with: REST web services & API testing tools.
• Knowledge in working with CI tools: preferably GitLab-CI etc. Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and the issue’s behavior.
• Experience in creating test specifications and test cases according to development requirements, maintaining them regularly updated, and creating business cases according to development requirements – Test Rail.
• Experience with White Box, Grey Box and Black Box testing.
• Familiarity in applying Decision Tables when dealing with complex business logic.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have skills:

• Understanding of application flow/ business from an end user, a technical person (developer) and a client point of view.
• Experience in working with relational DBs, preferably PostgreSQL.

• • Тестування функціоналу в SAP S/4HANA згідно з вимогами та тестовими сценаріями.
• • Аналіз, локалізація та первинне усунення проблем у взаємодії з бізнес-консультантами.
• • Збір і логування дефектів у баг-трекінговій системі з прикладами відтворення, технічними даними та артефактами.
• • Надання пропозицій щодо покращення процесів та підвищення стабільності релізів.
• • Дотримання внутрішніх політик кібербезпеки та стандартів роботи в SAP.
   

Вимоги:
 

• • Досвід роботи у сфері QA від 3 років, з яких 2+ роки на позиції Middle або еквівалентній.
• • Досвід тестування у середовищі SAP S/4HANA — суттєва перевага.
• • Розуміння SDLC/STLC, принципів quality gates у SAP-ландшафтах.
• • Практичні навички створення test cases, checklists, defect reports; робота з трасуванням дефектів.
• • Знання технік тест-дизайну та практичний досвід їх застосування (ISTQB — перевага).
• • Досвід роботи з баг-трекінговими системами (Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow).
   

Перевагою буде:
 

• • Розуміння SAP GUI специфіки (екранні поля, таблиці, навігація, повідомлення).
• • Досвід тестування Fiori/UI5 аплікацій.
• • Знання інтеграцій SAP (IDoc status flow, OData, REST API).
• • Досвід роботи з Git або іншими системами контролю версій.
• • Досвід у логістиці або фінансовому обліку в SAP-контексті.
