About the Work:

RFA provides technical assistance to multiple Ministries to:

• Improved capacity of Government of Ukraine (GoU) to establish EU compatible and decentralized strategic and recovery planning framework that align sector plans across government;
• Improved capacity of GoU to develop gender-responsive, citizen-oriented, inclusive and environmentally sensitive policies within the strategic and recovery planning framework;
• Improved capacity of the GoU to manage the consolidated policy agenda in a transparent, accountable, evidence-based manner.

To achieve these objectives RFA Project is developing software to automate the above-mentioned processes.

The Role:

QA engineer impact is to: 

• Performing functional, and non-functional, regression testing;
• Write clear and detailed bug reports, analyze root causes, and distinguish bugs from expected behavior or potential improvements;
• Build and maintain end-to-end (E2E) tests for product features;
• Using and implementing new best practices in testing to ensure product quality and reliability;
• Maximizing test coverage, preparing and maintaining test documentation including test cases, checklists, and bug reports;
• Monitor and support the stability of the test infrastructure across various environments;
• Define and analyze test metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automation.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in automation testing;
  • Experience in testing web applications (cross-platform and cross-browser desktop & mobile testing);
    • Full understanding of QA process and methodologies - test plan, test case, bug tracking systems and product life cycle;
      • Automated testing using Zephyr/Allure or similar;
        • Understanding CI/CD processes, setting up the launch of automated tests (Jenkins or similar);
          • Project creation, configuration, load testing (JMeter or similar);
            • Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket);

Job Description

• Employment Type: Part-time Remote Contractor
• Schedule: Flexible, project-based (non-regular assignments)
• Workload: Variable, 5-30 hours per month
• Compensation: Hourly rate

• Location: 100% Remote (no office visits required)

   

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing custom WordPress theme for company website
• Develop custom plugins and functionality as needed
• Build custom post types, fields, and API integrations
• Optimize website performance and loading speeds
• Conduct performance audits and implement caching solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the WordPress site

• Work independently on assigned projects with minimal supervision

   

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience
• Advanced PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
• Strong experience with custom theme and plugin development
• Proven expertise in website performance optimization
• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques
• Knowledge of caching solutions and optimization strategies
• Proficient with Git version control
• WordPress security best practices knowledge

• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
