Key Responsibilities

Financial Close & Reporting

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Own P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee AP/AR, billing accuracy, vendor management, and collections.
• Improve DSO, working capital, and operational cash management.
• Manage treasury, liquidity, cash forecasting, and bank relationships.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs.
• Ensure audit readiness; coordinate external audits and reviews.
• Oversee tax compliance (sales/use, payroll, property, income tax) with external advisors.

Payroll, Revenue, and Asset Accounting

• Oversee payroll-related accounting, benefit reconciliations, and classifications.
• Lead revenue recognition compliance (e.g., ASC 606), including contract review, performance obligation assessment, and variable consideration methodology where applicable.
• Manage fixed assets and capitalization policies, lease accounting, and depreciation schedules.

Systems, Processes & Automation

• Optimize close, AP/AR, billing, and expense workflows; drive automation.
• Collaborate with IT/Finance on ERP configuration and system integrations.

Strategic Finance Support

• Provide budget vs actual analysis and support FP&A with planning and forecasting.
• Advise leadership on accounting impacts of operational and strategic decisions.
• Support M&A diligence and integration efforts, purchase accounting, and policy alignment.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor the accounting team; ensure high-quality execution and clear priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or supervisory role.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and audit standards.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-state operations, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations.
• Background in services, SaaS, or subscription/recurring revenue models.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (models, reconciliations, analyses).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with M&A integration or system migrations is a plus.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and a strong ownership mindset.

✅Основні задачі

Financial Monitoring

• Забезпечення функціонування системи фінансового моніторингу відповідно до вимог законодавства України.
• Моніторинг фінансових операцій клієнтів та виявлення підозрілої активності.
• Аналіз депозитів, виведення коштів та нетипової поведінки користувачів.
• Проведення поглибленої перевірки клієнтів підвищеного ризику (Enhanced Due Diligence).
• Аналіз джерел походження коштів (Source of Funds) та джерел статків (Source of Wealth).
• Проведення перевірок PEP, санкційних та інших ризикових списків.
• Формування висновків щодо ризикових кейсів та прийняття рішень щодо подальшого обслуговування клієнтів.

Compliance

• Розробка, впровадження та оновлення політик, процедур та внутрішніх регламентів  у сфері фінансового моніторингу.
• Контроль дотримання вимог законодавства України у сфері фінансового моніторингу.
• Підготовка внутрішньої документації та звітності.
• Участь у проходженні внутрішніх та зовнішніх перевірок.
• Взаємодія з банками, платіжними провайдерами, фінансовими партнерами та державними органами з питань комплаєнсу та фінансового моніторингу.

Розвиток процесів

• Автоматизація процесів фінансового моніторингу та контролю ризиків.
• Навчання та консультаційна підтримка внутрішніх команд щодо вимог процесів фінансового моніторингу

• Досвід роботи від 2 років у сфері Financial Monitoring або AML/CFT
• Досвід здійснення процедур фінансового моніторингу відповідно до вимог законодавства України

Обов’язки:

• Аналіз та управління ліквідністю на рахунках у платіжних системах та банках (у т.ч. міжнародних).

• Щоденний контролінг платежів: відповідність призначенню, бюджету та статтям витрат.

• Моніторинг термінів платежів — нічого не має пройти повз.

Вимоги:

• Досвід роботи у гемблінгу/арбітражі/платіжному бізнесі від 1 року (бажано).

Про роль

• Шукаємо Financial Controller, який стане власником попроєктного управлінського обліку студії: від аудиту хаотичних Excel-файлів до структурованої фінансової моделі та прозорих попроєктних P&L.
• Це роль для людини, для якої Excel / Google Sheets — основний робочий інструмент: складні формули, пов'язані файли, reconciliation-моделі, control tabs, великі масиви даних і ручні звірки не лякають, а драйвлять.
• Позиція в підпорядкуванні CFO. Без команди в підпорядкуванні (hands-on), але з повним овнершипом проєктної фінансової звітності та прямим впливом на бізнес-рішення фаундерів.

Що ви будете робити

Проєктне бюджетування та управлінський облік

• Провести аудит наявних розрізнених файлів, виправити помилки і звести хаотичні дані в єдину структуровану фінансову модель стартап-студії.
  1. Створювати та контролювати попроєктні бюджети для напрямків IT та Defence: відстеження burn rate, контроль лімітів на різних Stage Gates розробки MVP, runway-аналіз.
• Розробити і впровадити справедливу методологію алокації оверхедів (спільних адмінвитрат) та часу in-house команди на конкретні проєкти / стартапи.
• Формувати управлінську звітність (P&L, Cash Flow) у розрізі кожного окремого проєкту, а також консолідовано на рівні групи та в мультивалюті.

Стандартизація та контроль операційних витрат

• Систематизувати зростаючий обсяг операційних закупівель і нові типи транзакцій.
• Розробити класифікатор витрат і контрольні механізми, щоб заявки від бізнесу коректно лягали в бюджетні статті.

Контроль цільового використання коштів

• Контролювати цільове використання грантових коштів та відповідність витрат умовам фінансування.

Підготовка до автоматизації (ERP)

• Після наведення ладу в Excel — зібрати бізнес-вимоги та підготувати технічне завдання на впровадження ERP-системи.
• У майбутньому — відповідати за свою частину міграції фінансових даних з Excel у нову систему обліку у межах командного проєкту впровадження ERP.

Партнерство з бізнесом і командою

• Збирати потреби та інформацію від бізнес-напрямків, перекладати їх на мову фінансів і закривати ad-hoc запити.
• Працювати в звʼязці з CFO, фінансовим аналітиком і головним бухгалтером, забезпечуючи, щоб проєктна звітність студії стикувалася із загальною фінансовою картиною групи.

Що для нас важливо

• Від 4-5 років досвіду у financial control, management accounting, reporting, audit або consolidation.
• Досвід роботи з кількома юрособами та мультивалютною звітністю (multi-entity reporting).
• Дуже сильний Excel / Google Sheets: складні формули, structured files, reconciliations, data checks, reporting models.
• Впевнене розуміння P&L, Cash Flow, budget vs actual, алокації витрат і variance-аналізу.
• Готовність працювати з ручними процесами, фрагментованими даними та великою кількістю звірок — і поступово перетворювати цей хаос на систему.
• Автономність, ownership і готовність відповідати за кінцевий результат.
• Сильні навички комунікації та фасилітації: здатність м'яко, але настійливо впроваджувати фінансову дисципліну серед нефінансових команд.
• Англійська — Intermediate (B1) або вище.

Буде плюсом

• Досвід у стартап-студіях, венчур-білдерах або product-компаніях з кількома проєктами одночасно.
• Досвід у Big4 або міжнародній audit / accounting firm.
• Досвід у defence tech, manufacturing або іншому project-based business.
• Досвід підготовки ТЗ та впровадження / міграції на ERP-систему.
• Досвід initial set-up ERP-системи (первинне налаштування облікового контуру, довідників, структури даних «з нуля»). 
• Досвід роботи з грантами, B2G або цільовим фінансуванням.
