About the role:

The selected candidate will need to be physically present in Madrid or able to travel there within the next 9 days.
During this period, you will help the client understand key aspects of WordPress VIP as part of their preparation for an upcoming pitch.
After that, if the pitch is successful, you will continue working remotely, representing the client in daily content operations.

Responsibilities

• Explain and clarify WordPress VIP workflows, capabilities, publishing processes during client workshops and preparation meetings.
• Support the client’s team during the pitch phase with CMS-related guidance.
• Publish, update, and maintain content in WordPress VIP (pages, posts, media, metadata, reusable components).
• Perform content QA: formatting checks, layout validation, link testing, consistency review, SEO basics.
• Follow brand governance rules, ensuring accuracy and high quality across all digital properties.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and localization teams during ongoing content work.
• Maintain structured documentation and support content release cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience with WordPress VIP.
• Strong understanding of publishing workflows, approvals, and editorial processes.
• Ability to explain technical CMS topics in a clear, structured, non-technical way.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot content/formatting issues quickly.
• English B2+ (daily communication); Spanish is a plus.
• Must be currently in Madrid OR able to arrive within the next 7 days.

• Basic HTML knowledge (headings, lists, embeds).
• Experience working with global brands or large content operations.
• Understanding of SEO and accessibility basics.
• Previous roles in content management, editorial, or digital marketing.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Solutions unit, where you’ll lead initiatives across complex projects, support multiple development streams, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong technical foundation and a leadership mindset.

 

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure services
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using modern tools and best practices
• Establish and manage observability platforms (e.g., Datadog, Grafana stack or similar)
• Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable, secure applications
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless operations
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across environments
• Implement and enforce DevOps best practices around security, performance, and resilience
• Provide technical mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to understand needs and deliver high-impact solution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go)
• Proven experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code tool (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud services and best practices including landing zones, networking, serverless, security and cost optimisation
• Good experience in managing containerized (Kubernetes, AWS ECS)
• Strong Linux administration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Desire and aptitude to grow into a technical leadership role

Nice to have:

• Preferably, experience with data projects  (AWS DataLake, Snowflake, Kafka, DBT) 
• Experience designing secure cloud environments and implementing cloud security best practices
• Deep expertise in observability and monitoring platforms: Datadog, Prometheus, Elastic APM, InfluxDB, Grafana or similar
