    We are looking for a talented 2D Game Artist who can create high-quality visuals for a fast-growing game project (details under NDA). You will work closely with the team to produce characters, environments, UI elements, and in-game assets that match the established style and enhance the overall player experience.

    This role suits someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable working in an iterative Agile environment, and able to translate ideas into polished, production-ready artwork. You’ll be involved in the full art pipeline β€” from concept to final integration into the game.

     

     

    Must-Have

    • 3–5+ years as a 2D Game Artist / Illustrator / UI Artist in games or interactive products.
    • Portfolio with:
      • Characters/creatures
      • Environments/scenes
      • In-game assets (icons, props, items, FX)
      • Real in-game UI examples (buttons, panels, HUD, popups)
    • Strong Photoshop skills: painting, overpaints, polish, asset prep/export.
    • Experience with Figma / Illustrator or other vector tools.
    • Ability to follow an established art style and contribute new ideas within it.
    • Understanding of game art production basics:
      • Resolutions, aspect ratios, safe zones
      • Readability and optimization for mobile/web
      • Export formats, spritesheets/texture atlases (basic level)
    • Hands-on experience with a game engine (Unity, Phaser, Pixi, Godot, etc.) for checking and adjusting assets in-game.
    • Experience with task trackers (Jira, Trello, ClickUp) and working with user stories.
    • Comfortable with Agile workflows: planning, estimates, dailies, reviews.
    • Ability to estimate tasks, manage scope, and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication skills and openness to feedback.
    • English sufficient for reading specs, UI text, and team communication.
