We are looking for a Retention Manager with hands-on experience working specifically with VIP players in Tier-1 GEOs to join our iGaming product focused on the Australian market.

The main focus of this role is VIP Retention. You will be responsible for understanding VIP player behaviour, developing personalized retention strategies and promotional mechanics, identifying growth opportunities, and driving player engagement, retention, and LTV.

This is not a direct VIP Account Management role. You will not be responsible for communicating with VIP players directly — this is handled by our VIP Account Manager. Your focus will be on VIP retention strategy, CRM mechanics, promotions, segmentation, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Segment the customer base and develop retention and remarketing strategies for VIP players.
• Plan and manage CRM calendars and promotional activities.
• Develop personalized bonus and retention mechanics for the VIP segment.
• Plan and launch email campaigns and other CRM communications.
• Prepare technical briefs for designers and copywriters.
• Conduct A/B tests of CRM campaigns, promotions, and communication mechanics.
• Analyze VIP player behaviour and the performance of retention activities.
• Monitor key metrics, including Retention Rate, Churn Rate, GGR, NGR, and LTV.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop hypotheses to increase VIP engagement and retention.
• Prepare regular reports and actionable recommendations for CRM optimization.
• Analyze existing campaigns and continuously improve retention mechanics.
• Work closely with VIP Account Management, CRM, Analytics, Marketing, Design, and Content teams.
• Own projects end-to-end, from defining the objective and hypothesis to launch, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Leverage AI tools and chatbots to improve CRM processes and campaign efficiency.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in Retention / CRM, preferably within iGaming or betting.
• Proven hands-on experience working with VIP players in Tier-1 GEOs.
• Strong understanding of VIP player behaviour and retention strategies.
• Experience developing and implementing retention and remarketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of key iGaming metrics: GGR, NGR, Retention, Churn, and LTV.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
• Experience with CRM systems and automation platforms such as Customer.io, Optimove, Xtremepush, or similar.
• Experience with segmentation, onboarding, lifecycle communications, and CRM mechanics.
• Ability to independently plan and launch CRM campaigns.
• Experience with analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
• Strong written communication skills and confident English.
• High level of ownership, initiative, and engagement.
