As a Senior Embedded Linux Developer, you will lead the architecture, development, and optimization of embedded Linux systems (Yocto/Buildroot). You’ll bridge the gap between hardware and software, mentor juniors, and ensure high-performance delivery for diverse platforms.

• Architecture & BSP: Define system architecture; develop and maintain BSPs for ARM/x86; configure bootloaders (U-Boot) and kernels.

About the position

As a Technical Leader you will be the link between the Project Manager and the development team in Ukraine. While the project managers ensures that the project is running according to schedule and is following our internal gate-model, you will be responsible for ensuring that the optimal technical decisions are made in each project and for facilitating the work of the developers so they are kept on track and motivated in their work. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our product development team. You will be responsible for designing robust and production-ready enclosures and mechanical components for electronic products used in industrial and defense applications. You’ll be part of a broader development team that includes hardware engineers and a product owner, and will closely cooperate with prototyping & production suppliers.

Your Role

· Design and develop mechanical enclosures and auxiliary parts for electronic systems.

· Ensure designs meet EU certification standards (CE, EMC, IP, etc.).

· Deliver high-quality, manufacturable designs suitable for serial production.

· Suggest proper prototyping strategies for designs to meet feature, cost and time constraints.

· Optimize designs for development speed and for quality depending on the need.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our team.

About the position

As a Technical Leader you will be the link between the Project Manager and the development team in Ukraine. While the project managers ensures that the project is running according to schedule and is following our internal gate-model, you will be responsible for ensuring that the optimal technical decisions are made in each project and for facilitating the work of the developers so they are kept on track and motivated in their work. Communication is a big part of the job in order to ensure that the customer’s needs are correctly communicated to the developers, and that progress in the development is communicated to the the Project Manager.

Required skills:

• Technical background, master's degree in Electronic Engineering (preferable) or Computer Science;
• Miltech background and experience (startups, commercial or volunteering, 3+ years), understanding and talking miltech terminology and language;
• Up to date in Miltech trands, following technology development;
• Strong analytical skills, ability to make a decision and take a responsibility;
• Good understanding of hardware and software development process/life-cycle;
• Good communication skills, reporting skills, ability to technically manage a team of HW and SW developers;
• Good project People management skills, ability to do a breakdown of major task to smaller jobsproject scope, estimate tasks, control tasks execution, help project manager to control overall project scope and budget, ability to identify scope changes;
• Good sense of quality, craftsmanship, good understanding and practical experience in debugging and troubleshooting, being always ready to carry on "last mile" of the task/job, be critical to himself/herself and to technical inputs by team/client, accepting and supporting startupers way making the products;
• At least perpre-intermediate level of written and spoken English.

• Core requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience in RF design and demonstrated participation in full product lifecycle — from schematic design to validation
• RF and Analog Circuit Design
  • Design and analysis of low-noise amplifiers (LNAs), mixers, oscillators, power amplifiers (PAs), filters, and matching networks
  • Proficiency in S-parameters, impedance matching, and network theory
  • Knowledge of RF layout considerations: controlled impedance lines, ground planes, isolation, and coupling minimization
• Microwave and Antenna Systems
  • Understanding of antenna theory, RF propagation, and waveguide structures
  • Experience with antenna integration, matching circuits, and feed network optimization
• Signal Integrity and EMC
  • Familiarity with parasitic effects, crosstalk, return loss, and reflection coefficient management
  • Awareness of EMC/EMI standards and compliance design techniques
• Measurement and Testing
  • Hands-on use of: Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes with RF capabilities, Power meters, noise figure analyzers, and S-parameter test setups
  • Ability to perform RF characterization
• Simulation and Modeling
  • Competence in RF simulation: S-parameter analysis, transient and frequency-domain simulations
  • Knowledge of thermal and mechanical influences on RF behavior
