Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in technically designing, developing, and maintaining new and robust backend services. You will work closely with our product and technical project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our users' needs. In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for a strong leader who can independently manage and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Node.js.
• Collaborate with the product team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead and manage projects independently from inception to completion.
• Demonstrate experience in successfully leading projects alone.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and services.
• Implement and maintain secure coding practices.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
• 4-5 years of hands-on experience as a backend developer, with a strong focus on Node.js. 
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL and Redis.
• Proven understanding and practical experience with AWS services, including Lambda, RDS, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Ability to write effective automated tests for backend services.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects independently.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks. (NestJS, etc.)
• Contributions to open-source projects.

We’re looking for a full-stack developer who’s comfortable taking ownership, making architectural decisions, and working across both frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the core web application (frontend + backend).
• Build integrations with cloud databases and deployment platforms.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the app’s SaaS infrastructure (licensing, payments, user management).
• Develop and maintain a desktop tool that integrates with the main platform using Electron + Node.js.
• Build and publish Chrome extension that integrate with the main platform.

• Collaborate with the founding team to shape the technical roadmap and product direction.

   

Experience Requirements:

• Node.js and React (experience with similar frameworks is also acceptable).
• Managing Deployments using Vercel or equivalent platforms (e.g., Netlify, Render).
• Working with cloud databases such as Firebase or Supabase — preferably with built-in integration to Vercel or similar.
• Chrome extensions Development.
• SaaS platforms, including **license management and payment systems Development.
