Full-Stack Developer (Contract) – United FC

About United FC
United FC is an agricultural company that supplies high-quality fertilizers and plant nutrition products to farmers. Our mission is to support farmer prosperity and help produce safe food, and every product we offer is field-tested before it reaches our customers. We are expanding our range with specialized agronutrients, including chelates, foliar biostimulants, liquid foliar fertilizers, plant defense enhancers, and single and double nutritionals. We pride ourselves on quality, expert support, competitive pricing and fast delivery.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to take ownership of our website as it moves from staging to a polished, production-ready platform. Our site is built on WordPress, serves customers in both English and Arabic, and includes a product catalog where farmers and distributors can explore our fertilizers and contact our team. You will improve the existing site, build new features as our product line grows, and make sure the platform is fast, secure and easy for our team to manage. This is a contract position with the possibility of a longer-term engagement.

What You Will Do
You will review the current WordPress site and agree with our team on priorities and a delivery timeline. You will build and maintain the product catalog using WooCommerce, including product pages with technical details such as composition, application methods, recommended crops and dosage information, along with categories and filters that help farmers find the right product. You will maintain full bilingual support in English and Arabic, including correct right-to-left layout, translated content and consistent design across both languages. You will develop custom themes, plugins and features in PHP and JavaScript where off-the-shelf plugins are not enough, and you may build integrations such as inquiry and quotation forms, order or distributor requests, CRM or email tools, and analytics. You will improve site performance by optimizing images, reducing reliance on heavy plugins such as slider tools, setting up caching and improving Core Web Vitals. You will also handle security and maintenance, including updates, backups, SSL, spam protection and access control, apply on-page SEO in both languages, make sure every page works smoothly on mobile, and manage the move from staging to production with minimal downtime. Finally, you will document your work so our team can add products and update content without developer help.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of professional full-stack web development experience and a portfolio of live WordPress and WooCommerce websites they have built or significantly improved. You should have strong PHP skills, including custom theme and plugin development, and solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript. You should be comfortable working with MySQL databases, the WordPress REST API and third-party API integrations. Hands-on experience building multilingual websites with Arabic and right-to-left support is essential, using tools such as WPML or Polylang. You should also have practical knowledge of web performance, security best practices and technical SEO, be comfortable with Git, hosting control panels and staging-to-production deployments, and be able to communicate clearly in English and work independently against agreed milestones.

Nice to Have
Arabic language skills are a strong advantage. Experience with e-commerce or B2B product catalogs for agriculture, manufacturing or industrial products would be valuable, as would experience with headless WordPress or a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Next.js. UI/UX design skills, experience with Figma, and familiarity with payment gateway, shipping or ERP integrations will also be appreciated.

Contract Details
This is an independent contractor role. You will invoice United FC directly, with payment based on agreed milestones or regular invoices. All code, designs and content created for the project will belong to United FC. We will hold a short weekly progress check-in, with other updates shared by email or chat, and a non-disclosure agreement will be required before access to our systems is granted.

How to Apply
Please send us links to two or three WordPress or WooCommerce websites you have built or improved, with a short description of your role on each, plus examples of any multilingual or Arabic websites you have worked on. Include your hourly rate or an estimated project price, your availability and earliest start date, and a short note on what you would improve first on our current website. Our hiring process includes a portfolio review, a video call to discuss the project, and a small paid technical task before we sign the contract and begin.

We look forward to hearing from you and growing United FC together.

About the project

We are building a new industrial web platform designed to run both as an Azure-hosted SaaS solution and as an air-gapped on-premises installation from a shared codebase.

The platform uses modern .NET technologies, with Avalonia UI powering the user interface across browser-based WebAssembly and desktop applications.

You will help build the core UI framework, creating a reusable, modular, and high-performance interface for industrial dashboards and data-intensive applications.

The stack is .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB, Keycloak, Docker and Kubernetes, with all UI in Avalonia.

We are looking for a Middle/Senior Frontend Developer with strong C#/.NET and Avalonia UI experience to build the user interface of a new industrial web platform running in the browser through WebAssembly and sharing code with desktop applications.

This is a UI-focused engineering role, not a traditional JavaScript frontend position. We are looking for someone experienced in building complex interfaces, reusable components, and UI architecture using Avalonia, or strong WPF/XAML expertise combined with hands-on Avalonia experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and .NET, including modern .NET versions.
• Production experience with Avalonia UI, or strong WPF/XAML experience combined with hands-on Avalonia development.
• Solid understanding of MVVM, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience building custom controls, styles, themes, and data-intensive interfaces such as grids, charts, and dashboards.
• Ability to write maintainable, testable code and collaborate through Git-based code review workflows.
• Availability to work remotely from within the EU and overlap with the US East Coast working hours from 08:00 to 13:00 ET.

Nice to have

• Experience migrating desktop applications from WPF or WinForms to Avalonia.
• Hands-on experience with Avalonia UI running in the browser through WebAssembly and understanding of its limitations.
• Familiarity with LiveCharts2, ScottPlot, OxyPlot, or commercial UI control libraries.
• Experience with plug-in systems or modular UI architectures.
• Unit testing of view models and automated testing practices.
• Knowledge of OIDC authentication, Keycloak, notifications, and file uploads.
• Experience optimizing WebAssembly applications through trimming, AOT compilation, or lazy loading.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and localization.
• Experience building industrial, IIoT, manufacturing, or other data-intensive dashboard applications.
• Basic knowledge of ASP.NET Core and REST/OpenAPI.

Responsibilities
• Build the Avalonia UI shell: navigation, layouts, user preferences, and responsive and touch-friendly design.
• Create a reusable component library and themes (light, dark, high-contrast), with customer branding kept separate from themes.
• Implement UI extension points so plug-ins can add pages, dashboards and settings, with visibility driven by roles and licenses.
• Test and help select charting and control libraries for Avalonia WASM.
• Set up the localization architecture and port existing WPF screens to Avalonia.
• Optimize WASM load time and performance across the four target browsers.
• Write unit tests, take part in code reviews, and document UI decisions.

We are extending our Integrity teams and seeking for several Senior Frontend Engineers with strong expertise in modern frontend technologies such as web components, React, and microfrontends. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about designing and delivering intuitive, high-performing, and reliable user interfaces that support our award-winning educational platform.

As a core contributor to our product development team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of both existing and new applications. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to create scalable and engaging solutions that meet the needs of educators and students worldwide.

Responsibilities:
