About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Website Developer to build the new version of the Applica website. This is a project-based contractor role (~1 month) with potential for ongoing hourly-based support after the initial launch.

You'll be working directly with a technical person from our team who will review your work, answer questions, and provide feedback throughout the project.

We are seeking a skilled Middle iOS Developer for a specific, high-priority scope of work to prepare a social networking platform. This is a contract-based position focused on refining an existing Swift codebase, ensuring high-load stability, and meeting strict security and accessibility standards.

Scope of Work (Contract Deliverables)

• Feature Implementation & Logic:

Build a city selection dropdown for user profiles with New York City and Los Angeles as primary options.

Update application age restrictions.

Integrate comprehensive subscription models: Weekly, Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime (LTD).

Implement App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompts using Apple’s native permission popups.

• Security & Authentication:

Develop MFA using Google Authentication (TOTP) for all app users.

Audit the Swift code for quality and functionality to eliminate memory leaks.

Perform a penetration test on the app code and amend any discovered vulnerabilities.

Improve JWT secret key management and rotation protocols.
Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA & ADA Compliance):

Implement accessibilityLabel for all UIImageViews and buttons.

Ensure strict color contrast ratios ($\ge4.5:1$ for normal text and $\ge3:1$ for large text).

Optimize Focus Management, Zoom, Reflow, and Touch Target sizes for screen reader support.

• Deployment & Compliance:

Ensure the app is built using the iOS 26 SDK (Xcode 26) to meet April compliance standards.

Update the app store display to show minimum age requirements and link to updated Privacy/Refund policies.

Technical Requirements

• Swift Proficiency: Strong experience with the Swift language and pre-launch app optimization.
• Performance Engineering: Ability to stress-test apps for high-quantity user onboarding.
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with MFA, TOTP, and secure key rotation.

• Standard Compliance: Proven track record of implementing WCAG 2.1 AA and ADA requirements in iOS environments.

Prediction Market Platform

We’re building a prediction market trading platform powered by live market data, AI-driven analytics, copy-trading, and event-based futures.

The product is already in development and moving toward a real launch. We’re looking for a strong senior full-stack developer with hands-on experience bringing real products into production. It’s important that your background goes beyond pet projects — you’ve worked on live systems with real users and load, understand how scalable services are built, and can make engineering decisions at the architectural level, not just within isolated tasks.

You’ll be working on the core of the platform: processing live market data, events, and order books in real time, contributing to system architecture, integrating APIs and WebSocket sources, and helping implement AI analytics, copy-trading, and event futures.

We’re looking for an independent engineer with strong production-level experience in Next.js, solid understanding of real-time systems, and experience building services under load. Experience in crypto, trading systems, or market data infrastructure is a strong plus.
