Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in building scalable, high-performance systems
• Hands-on experience with AdTech solutions such as DSP, SSP, ad exchange, prebid, Google Ad Manager, or openRTB
• Strong proficiency in Python, preferably with the Django framework
• Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Good understanding of distributed system architecture with a focus on data availability, reliability, and performance
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and AWS

• Upper-Intermediate level of English

• Experience with dbt and Redshift

What You’ll Be Working On (Your Impact)

• Perform hands-on manual testing of backend APIs using Postman, web applications, and mobile applications
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios
• Perform end-to-end testing across UI, backend services and validate data consistency
• Perform mobile app testing on real devices and emulators/simulators using Saucelabs
• Re-test fixes and perform regression testing to ensure stability
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for React Web applications using Selenium tool and Flutter mobile applications using BrowserStack or similar for Android & iOS platforms
• Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing and executing test cases for new and existing features
• Perform functional, regression, performance and compatibility testing of web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using Jira or similar bug tracking tool
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand product requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and faster release cycles using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth and efficient build and deployment processes

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to ensure high-quality deliverables

   

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience testing backend APIs, web applications, and mobile apps (iOS/Android)
• Proven ability to analyze requirements and translate them into clear test scenarios and test cases
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and best practices
• Ability to identify suitable test cases for automation vs. manual execution
• Strong defect tracking, reporting, and communication skills
• Experience working in version control tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gitlab
• Familiar with Testing lifecycle in Agile / Scrum projects, Defect Man
• Should be ready to work 50/50 on manual and autotesting. must be able to work in multitasking startup environment, self starter, experience setting up automation from scratch!
