We are growing fast and we need a leader for an important part of our Performance Marketing - Head of Paid Ads.
We currently have three in-house performance marketers and two external performance agencies that you would be responsible for leading.
Your Goal
To build and lead the paid acquisition engine that drives Finmapβs growth. Youβll manage multiple funnels across different ICPs and geographies, ensure each is profitable, and create a system that can scale with more people and more traffic.
What Youβll Do:
1. Build the system
β Design and implement a scalable structure for managing multiple funnels by ICP, geography, and funnel type.
β Develop standards for campaign setup, testing, reporting, and optimization.
β Create a clear playbook that allows new team members to quickly join and deliver results.
2. Lead and grow the team
β Manage and mentor in-house Funnel Managers, focusing on their performance, growth, and development.
β Search for, hire, and develop new team members to strengthen the performance team.
β Search for, hire, and manage external contractors and partners.
β Coordinate work with external media buyers, agencies, and contractors.
β Ensure designers, content creators, and copywriters deliver everything your team needs on time and with the right quality.
3. Drive results
β Set and hit ROAS, ROMI, and profitability targets.
β Manage budgets across channels and markets with clear payback and margin control.
β Launch and test new geographies and acquisition channels systematically.
β Track data accuracy and performance metrics across all campaigns.
4. Collaborate cross-functionally
β Work closely with the COO, Head of Acquisition, Product Marketing, and Analytics to ensure alignment on goals and insights.
β Provide regular reports and clarity on what works, what doesnβt, and where to scale next.
Youβll Be a Fit If You:
β Are fluent in Ukrainian.
β Have 4+ years in paid acquisition, with proven results scaling budgets across multiple channels.
β Have experience managing both in-house teams and outsourced partners.
β Know how to build and document processes that scale (not just run ads).
β Are data-driven: you think in numbers, payback periods, and ROI.
β Have experience in SaaS or subscription-based models (nice to have).
β Are comfortable owning the full cycle β from idea to profit.

Capital Formation
- Lead LP fundraising (family offices, HNWIs, corporates/strategics, DFIs/IFIs): materials, data room, roadshows, diligence.
- Build co-investment lanes and lending relationships (banks, DFIs, credit funds).
- Design structures (funds/AMC, SPVs, co-invest, notes/mezz where relevant).
Deal Origination & Execution
- Create a proprietary origination engine (bankers, advisers, corporates, special situations).
- Own underwriting: LBO/valuation, unit economics, scenario/sensitivity, returns.
- Run diligence (FDD/LDD/TDD/ESG), IC materials, and negotiations.
- Execute agreements (SPA/SSA), earn-outs, vendor loans; minority/control and carve-outs.
Portfolio Value Creation
- Launch 100-day plans, KPI/OKR systems, and BI dashboards.
- Drive pricing power, working-capital unlocks, procurement, operational excellence.
- Orchestrate roll-ups and strategic partnerships; prepare exits (trade/secondary/refi/IPO readiness).
- Chair/serve boards; maintain high founder/management NPS.
Risk, Compliance & Ops
- Ensure KYC/AML/sanctions compliance, policies, and audit-ready processes.
- Manage P&L for GP/AMC; budgeting, reporting, and LP communications.

- 8β15+ years in PE/IB/operating leadership with closed deals (minority/control) and measurable value-creation outcomes; CEE/Ukraine exposure preferred.
