Currently, builds and releases are done manually. The goal is to industrialize this process using GitHub

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive migration strategy from AWS to OpenStack + Virtuozzo Application Platform
• Assess current AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, managed services, and Kubernetes clusters
• Migrate and optimize Kubernetes clusters from AWS EKS to OpenStack-based container orchestration
• Transition from AWS-managed services (Redis, MSK Kafka, RabbitMQ) to self-managed or OpenStack-equivalent solutions
• Ensure high availability and multi-zone redundancy in the new environment
• Manage PostgreSQL database migration.
• Maintain system performance.
• Optimize low-latency client request processing in the new infrastructure
• Monitor and tune application performance post-migration

Automation & DevOps

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for OpenStack deployment
• Create CI/CD pipelines compatible with the new environment
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Establish backup and disaster recovery procedures

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with development teams to ensure application compatibility
• Document migration processes, new infrastructure architecture, and operational procedures
• Coordinate with Virtuozzo Application Platform support as needed

Required Qualifications
 

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
• Expert-level AWS experience including EC2, EKS, MSK, RDS, S3, and managed services
• Strong OpenStack experience with compute, networking, and storage services
• Kubernetes expertise including cluster migration, networking, and storage
• Database management experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse
• Message queue systems experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
   

Soft Skills

• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
