Your Regular Tasks

• Payment Operations & Analytics:
  • Payment Tracking: Ensure all payments are monitored and tracked efficiently using available tools, and resolve any issues promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Key Account Management, Support, Finance, and IT) by providing updates, clarifications, and resolving payment-related issues
  • Address failed payments and delays, escalate complex issues when needed, and ensure proper documentation is maintained throughout the process
  • Take ownership of your respective Tableau dashboards to monitor the operations and performance of payment channels
  • Analyse payment data to track conversion, identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and other relevant metrics in Tableau
• Collaboration with Payment Providers:
  • Manage and maintain relationships with payment providers, banks, and financial institutions to improve system robustness
  • Evaluate and recommend new payment providers/methods that align with business goals
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new payment providers to expand our product offering (i.e. financial forecasts related to payment volume projections)
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and implement payment requirements and configurations
  • Conduct thorough testing of new/existing payment channels and collaborate with payment providers to resolve them
• SWIFT:
  • Work within Swift Alliance Cloud to check incoming/outgoing payments, payment queues, and configurations
  • Contact banking partners to verify whether the payment was received, delayed, or rejected
  • Use MT103 or UETR (for SWIFT GPI transactions) to track the payment’s status

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years of proven experience in payment operations or related roles within FinTech or Banking
• A proactive approach to driving initiatives and improvements is a must
• Strong understanding and experience working with the following payment rails: SWIFT, SEPA, SEPA Inst, SEPA DD, FPS.
• Knowledge of SWIFT Message Types such as MT/MX and understanding of transaction details in such messages (correspondent banks, amount, currency, sender, and recipient information, etc.)
• Experience working with SWIFT RMA and/or understanding of different SWIFT messaging services, such as FIN or FileAct, would be a big plus
• Experience working and communicating with different types of financial institutions (banks, fintechs, PSPs)
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyse large datasets

About the Role

At iForAI, we help companies put AI into real products. Our team builds and integrates AI systems: copilots, agent platforms, retrieval-backed assistants, and document and workflow automation, working side by side with customer teams.

We’re hiring a Lead Backend Engineer to help drive that work. This is a hands-on role. You’ll guide a small backend team of 2 to 4 engineers, own backend architecture across services, and build the systems that put LLMs and agents into production workflows.

We are looking for an Integration Team Lead to own the architecture and reliability of our advertising platform integrations while leading a small engineering team and driving the integration roadmap. In this role, you will design and scale data pipelines that process large volumes of advertising data, ensure stable data synchronization across external marketing platforms, and lead new integration initiatives from API evaluation to production rollout. You will play a key role in shaping the platform’s integration strategy, mentoring engineers, and building scalable, AI-enabled integration solutions that power our core data infrastructure.

Requirements
- 5+ years in backend/data engineering, including 2+ years working with advertising/marketing APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Marketing API and/or LinkedIn Marketing API: real work with rate limits, async reports, breakdowns, attribution windows.
- Strong Python skills: production-grade code with error handling, logging, and tests.
- Experience leading a team (2+ people): code reviews, task planning, growing engineers.
- Solid understanding of data pipeline patterns: idempotency, backfill, incremental sync, schema evolution.
- Experience with GCP or comparable cloud (AWS/Azure) at the service design level.

- Actively use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) in daily engineering workflows for code generation, debugging, documentation, and data pipeline design, applying sound engineering judgment when validating AI-generated outputs.

- Knowledge of the Programmatic ecosystem: DV360, The Trade Desk, OpenRTB.
- Experience with BigQuery and/or ClickHouse.
- Pulumi / Terraform for IaC.

Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and evolution of all platform integrations: Meta Marketing API, LinkedIn Marketing API, Programmatic channels (DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Lead a team of 2-4 engineers: code reviews, sprint planning, mentorship.
