What You'll Do

• Start with comprehensive manual testing to deeply understand our applications
• Gradually transition to writing automated tests, primarily in JS/TS stack
• Build test automation for both frontend interfaces and backend services
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Develop automated test suites using modern frameworks
• Participate in code reviews for both application code and test code
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Work directly with senior engineers who will guide your automation journey
• Take ownership of quality assurance for features as your skills grow

What We're Looking For

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
• Basic programming knowledge in at least one language
• Attention to detail and ability to think like a user
• Understanding of web applications and how they work
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Strong communication skills for clear bug reporting
• English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate or higher)
• Ability to work from our Ivano-Frankivsk office

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST clients)
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Experience with Git version control
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing
• Personal projects or coursework in testing/automation
• Curiosity about different testing approaches and tools
