    Briefly on our stack:

    We operate our development environment via docker, your team will pull down the docker setup and execute install to gain access to development environment. The application is built on PHP using MySQL and Reid’s and consists of two monolith systems. The IG backend platform and the IG front end platform. The backend platform is a custom built framework that invokes many modules that will be familiar to regular developers whilst some elements will be very custom. Our front end platform is built on Laravel.

     

    Both of these platforms operate with a multi tenancy logic where one tenant is represented by its request subdomain. The subdomain references a project folder within either platform that extends our core application code to introduce customisation for given tenant.

     

    Briefly on the people we require:

    PHP developers with ability to work in a team setting by following the IG management set directions that can be given via Jira or direct requests. Their intended working day will commence with a daily standup where they join our Google meet and address the topics they worked on yesterday and what is their agenda for today. Then they proceed with their agenda items as developers. Any extra information they require during development they have access to team lead or pm via slack chat or call. They must follow IG code standards (confluence) - ie: verify their own code against standards before proceeding to create a merge request where our team verifies their code. Once code is verified we can proceed to our Uat and part take in testing or bug resolution.

     

    In an ideal world we need an extension of our development team - the people you can bring in will become as a part of our team and will operate with our management and internal development flow and team. We do not require pms or qas or other staff, literally code writing capacity is the current interest.

     

    Experience with the following is a huge plus:

    • Symfony

    Frontend (Vue.js)

     

    Skills:

    • No other specific technical requirements.

    If the person has experience in fintech would be considered as a priority.

    • As for interviews - we want to be swift so we’d go through technical competency interview with myself to assess these individuals.
