Senior Front-End Developer (Angular 18+)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer (Angular 18+) to join our Warsaw team. 

The role is on-site and requires working from the office.

✅ Requirements:

✔️A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in web development;

✔️At least 3-4 years of commercial experience with Angular 2+ (we are using Angular 18+ and moving fast);

✔️Proficiency with Typescript;

✔️Familiarity with testing frameworks and test runner frameworks such as Jest;

✔️Experience consuming REST APIs;

✔️Clear understanding of SOLID/GRASP principles, client-side architecture, and design patterns;

✔️Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations;

✔️Exceptional learning skills, problem-solving, and ability to work independently;

✔️Solid understanding and extensive experience with tools like Git, npm, Webpack, Babel, and Linters;

✔️Intermediate level of English.

✅ Would be a plus:

✔️Experience in working with the Nx framework;

✔️Experience in working with TypeScript AST and writing code modifiers;

✔️Experience with GitLab CI;

✔️Experience in working with Docker, NGINX, and NodeJS;

Project Description:

You will be working in the FX Linear Client and Trading Apps crew in Wroclaw, which is part of a global Investment Bank Technology organization. The team is working using agile principles and is responsible for building and maintaining applications that are essential for FX trading, including supervision and regulatory reporting systems, and possibly others. As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will play an important role in delivering business value while shaping the future of our technology stack as well as assuring high quality and reducing technical risk for developed solutions.

Job Description

As a Server Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable server-side solutions, ensuring high system availability and performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, advocate for best practices, and contribute to the evolution of our tech stack. In your day-to-day, you will:

• Work on scalable solutions using event-driven and hexagonal architectures with a Domain-Driven Design (DDD) approach
• Lead the entire lifecycle of feature development, from defining requirements and APIs to coding, monitoring performance, and delivering robust solutions
• Ensure production stability, high system availability, and responsiveness while addressing user complaints
• Advocate for chosen architectures, contributing to the evolution of the tech stack
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and stability to meet company standards
• Participate in technical discussions to improve architecture and developer experience
   

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a server engineer, focusing on JVM stack and/or TypeScript
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL solutions, database architectures, and query profiling
• Experience in designing server solutions, API design, and technical documentation
• Skilled in writing unit and integration tests with an understanding of TDD concepts
• Familiarity with proto-based APIs, Kafka or similar messaging systems, and cloud solutions
• Knowledge of high-load systems, microservice orchestration tools, and architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx)
• Strong debugging, refactoring, and reverse engineering skills
• Passion for product development and ownership of the full development lifecycle
• Experience with functional languages like Scala or Kotlin — an advantage
