Job Description

The senior Back-end developer is responsible for maintaining, modifying, and creating new features on existing and new projects.

The Back-end developer will be working as a part of a multidisciplinary team including front-end and other back-end developers to fulfill the tasks and projects assigned to them.

Basic Functions

• Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications
• Design algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems
• Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements
• Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business, and systems analysts
• Test and deploy programs and applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software
• Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance
• Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products

Deliverables

• Estimate per task before starting (number of estimated tasks vs total tasks)
• Finalize tasks based on the time estimate (estimates hits vs estimates exceeded)
• Produce functioning code according to provided specifications (number of bugs produced per feature)
• Deliver performance optimized code (performance incidents / bugs)
• Deliver secure code (security bugs)
• Commit to git repo as needed or at least once a day (number of commits)

accelerator development. The Field Service Engagement Accelerator is AI-driven solution designed to enhance customer interactions and service delivery in field service operations. Key responsibilities include:
-Template Pipeline Development: Design and implement a flexible template 
pipeline that can be customized and deployed per customer. This pipeline will manage user input, integrating with LLMs using AWS Textract, AWS Connect, and agentic workflows.
-Building Data APIs: Develop robust APIs that interface with user engagement channels, capturing and processing inputs via AWS Textract and AWS Connect.
-Ingestion Pipeline Creation: Design and implement metadata-driven template ingestion pipeline that automates the loading of public data both web and documents (word, pdfs). -RAG Workflows: Establish Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows that leverage knowledge bases built on Kendra or OpenSearch. This includes integrating various data sources, such as corporate documents, inspection checklists, and real-time external data feeds.
Scalable and Customizable Solutions: Ensure that both the template and 
ingestion pipelines are scalable, allowing for adjustments to meet specific customerneeds and environments. This involves setting up RAG workflows, knowledge bases using Kendra/OpenSearch, and seamless integration with customer data sources.
-End-to-End Workflow Automation: Automate the end-to-end process from user input to response generation, ensuring that the solution leverages AWS services likeBedrock Agents, CloudWatch, and QuickSight for real-time monitoring and analytics.
 

Skills
Must have:
-Data engineering background is a must.
-Metadata driven data processing workflows (must have for lead, nice to have for developer)
-ML engineering background is a must, experience building ML pipelines, 
packaging and optimizing models, fine-tuning, packaging, serving.
-Strong expertise in AWS data and ML services
-Strong experience building data pipelines with Python

Nice to have:
-Experience or at least non-commercial experience with LLMs and agents.
-Langchain or similar
-AWS Bedrock
-AWS Bedrock knowledge bases
-Textract experience or any OCR experience related to document processing

Required skills

● 8+ years of experience as a Front-End/Full-Stack developer
● Strong in JavaScript and TypeScript
● Proficiency in React
● Extensive experience with JavaScript toolkits (Webpack, Babel, Jest, Puppeteer, ESLint, Stylelint)
● Extensive experience with Git, experience with Gerrit will be a plus
● Experience in HTML/CSS, SCSS
● Experience working with a Linux-based server environment, solid Linux/Unix skills
● Experience working in a distributed team
● Hands-on experience in setting up and maintaining CI systems, including configuring automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
● Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms
● Experience with infrastructure-related tasks, optimizing workflows, integrating automated testing, and ensuring efficient software delivery
● Upper-Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken)

As a plus

● Experience with one of BE technologies (preferably Node.js or Java, one of these will be a plus Ruby, Python, Java, .NET)
