Our client operates in the travel and hospitality industry and is building a high-volume distribution and integration platform connecting downstream systems with multiple Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and hospitality platforms.
The platform supports mission-critical availability, rate, and inventory flows and is designed for scale, performance, and resiliency.

Project overview

The project focuses on high-throughput, low-latency distribution, handling complex hospitality concepts such as ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory), restrictions, inventory blocks, and state reconciliation across event-driven and polling-based models.
The platform is built using Microsoft technologies (.NET and Azure), with strong emphasis on Azure infrastructure, DevOps, and relational data consistency.

Position overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer you will design, build, and maintain core backend integrations between the client’s platform and Hotel PMS / CRS / hospitality systems. This role requires hands-on experience integrating with at least one hospitality platform and strong domain knowledge of hotel distribution, combined with solid experience operating backend systems on Azure and SQL-based architectures.

Eastern European candidates are expected to maintain a 4–6 hour working overlap with the US Eastern Time zone.

We run high-volume email campaigns for lead generation across European markets (France, Belgium, Germany). We need someone who can build and manage email infrastructure that actually lands in inboxes — not someone who just knows how to use Mailchimp.
 

This is not a "send newsletters" role. If your experience is limited to marketing automation platforms with built-in sending, this isn't for you.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Setting up and managing email sending infrastructure — dedicated IPs, multiple domains, proper DNS configuration (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Warming up new IPs and domains to build sender reputation
• Managing deliverability across major providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, European ISPs)
• Monitoring blacklists, bounce rates, spam complaints, and inbox placement
• Rotating sending domains and IPs when reputation drops
• Building and maintaining seed lists for inbox placement testing
• Segmenting lists and managing send velocity to avoid triggering spam filters
• Writing copy that converts without triggering content-based filters
• A/B testing subject lines, from names, and send times for European audiences
• Cleaning and validating lists to maintain low bounce rates
• Troubleshooting deliverability issues — diagnosing why emails are landing in spam and fixing it

Must-have experience:

• You've managed your own SMTP infrastructure (Postal, Mailcow, PowerMTA, or similar) — not just used ESPs
• You understand DMARC, SPF, and DKIM at a technical level — can configure DNS records yourself
• You've warmed up IPs and domains from scratch and know how long it takes and what can go wrong
• You've dealt with blacklist removal (Spamhaus, Barracuda, Microsoft SNDS, etc.) and know how to prevent it
• You know the difference between shared and dedicated IPs and when to use each
• You can read email headers and diagnose delivery failures
• You've worked with email verification tools (ZeroBounce, NeverBounce, MillionVerifier, or similar)
• You understand inbox placement testing (GlockApps, Mail-Tester, or similar)

Nice to have:

• Experience with cold outreach at scale (not just opt-in marketing lists)
• Familiarity with European anti-spam regulations (GDPR implications for email)

The reality:

Mass email marketing sits in a challenging space. Deliverability is a constant battle — IPs get flagged, domains get burned, providers change their filtering. The job involves constant monitoring, rapid response when something goes wrong, and staying ahead of filtering changes. If you've done this work before, you know exactly what I mean.

To apply, answer these questions:

1. Describe your experience setting up email sending infrastructure from scratch. What stack did you use and what was your peak daily send volume?
2. A new IP you've been warming for 2 weeks suddenly starts landing in spam at Gmail. Walk me through your diagnosis and fix process.

We are seeking a highly capable Business Analyst/ Product Manager to join our Solution Group. In this role, you will operate at the forefront of N-iX’s portfolio expansion, acting as a bridge between business strategy and technical execution.

Unlike a standard delivery role, this position requires a consultant mindset. You will work across various domains (e.g., FinTech, E-commerce, Manufacturing, Logistics) to lead discovery phases, shape solution proposals during presales, and drive the development of complex products for global enterprise clients.

Scope & Responsibilities:

Consultancy & Presales (Priority Focus)

• Lead Discovery & Assessment: Conduct discovery workshops and onsite assessments to analyze client business processes, identify gaps, and propose digital transformation strategies.
• Presales Support: Drive the technical and business stream of presales activities, including responding to RFPs/RFIs, estimating costs/timelines, and preparing solution proposals.
• Value Proposition: Define and articulate the business case for new products or features, ensuring alignment with the client’s strategic objectives (e.g., revenue growth, operational efficiency).
• Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders and client product teams, guiding them through product strategy calibration, roadmap prioritization, and market analysis.

Product Management & Delivery

• Roadmap & Backlog: Build and manage product roadmaps (directional and implementation); prune and prioritize the backlog of user stories and tasks based on business value.
• Requirements Engineering: Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Process Modeling: Create clear documentation artifacts, including BPMN diagrams, flowcharts, and user story maps to visualize complex workflows.
• Delivery Oversight: Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Architects, and Delivery Managers to ensure the solution is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
• Change Management: Manage scope creep and handle change requests effectively, balancing client needs with project constraints.

Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years of commercial experience in Business Analysis or Product Management within the IT industry.
• Consulting Mindset: Proven track record of working in a vendor/outsourcing environment with direct client-facing exposure (US/EU clients preferred).
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to decompose complex business problems into actionable software requirements (WBS, functional decomposition).
• Agile Mastery: Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence, Miro).
• Communication: Advanced English (C1/C2) with excellent presentation skills. Ability to tailor communication to both technical engineers and C-suite executives.
• Flexibility: Willingness to switch between different projects/domains.

Nice to Have:

• Presales Experience: Significant experience leading or contributing to presales activities, creating proposal decks, and conducting "zero sprint" discoveries.
• Domain Versatility: Experience working in multiple business domains (e.g., Automotive, Supply Chain, Telecom, Finance) rather than a single industry.
• Technical Background: Basic understanding of software architecture (API integrations, Cloud platforms like AWS/Azure, Data Engineering) to effectively converse with technical teams.
• Certifications: Certified Product Owner (CSPO/PSPO), CBAP, or similar relevant certifications.
