We’re scaling a high-volume newsletter business and are looking for a Technical Operations Manager to own the infrastructure that powers our growth.

This role is responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling the technical foundation behind our newsletter operations: accounts, domains, access environments, templates, and workflows. Think of it as running a production-grade newsletter factory — fast, repeatable, secure, and resilient.

You will operate hands-on. Speed matters. Precision matters. Stability matters even more.
The goal is to reliably launch and maintain 10+ new newsletter setups per week without creating long-term risk or operational debt.

This is not a support role and not a coordination role. You will personally execute, document, standardize, and improve the systems that allow the company to scale.

Numerical Technologies LTD is a leading provider of custom software solutions and services specializing in risk, limits, and regulatory capital. Right now, we are looking for a Python Developer to join our team.

 

What will you be doing?

As part of the team, you will be participating in a project with a large US bank. You will be helping us develop new software features and support and maintain the existing ones. You will be writing scalable and fault-tolerant code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services. You will be working closely with the client and product manager to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements, and contribute to code quality through unit testing, integration testing, code review, and system design using Python to build robust software that aligns with the client’s business needs.

 

What are we looking for:

◼ A strong programming background with Python and OOP skills.

◼ Proficiency with SQL (Postgres, SQLite) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

◼ Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.

◼ Experience with FastAPI and Linux environments.

◼ Familiarity with LangChain is a plus.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python (asyncio, dataclasses, async HTTP, unit testing, pytest)
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (Service Bus, Storage, Key Vault, VM/VMSS, AKS, ACI, DNS, Azure Pipelines)

Nice to have:

• Experience with C# / .NET development
• Knowledge of ARM templates and infrastructure as code

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (BGP, VLANs, routing, subnets)

Main responsibilities:

• Write well-documented, highly maintainable and performing code, with appropriate test coverage;
• Investigate and resolve application issues, bottlenecks and inefficiencies;
• Demonstrate in-depth experience with e-Commerce and web application technologies, especially in the areas of writing high performance, reliable and maintaining code;
• Conduct and participate in code reviews that span multiple languages and applications;
• Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and feedback as well as conducting design sessions, assisting in code deployments and day-to-day operations;
• Regularly dive into architecture, code, test plans, project plans, etc.;
