Your chance.

This is your chance to take real ownership of infrastructure within a small, cracked engineering team - with far more impact than you’d have in a huge platform org. You'll own the systems Dæly runs on end to end, make architectural decisions and build the infrastructure that carries us through our next phase of growth.

What you'll do.

• Own our Azure infrastructure end to end across reliability, scalability and cost
• Operate and scale Kubernetes (dev, staging & production), including upgrades, autoscaling, networking and ingress
• Manage Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD across our cloud stack
• Support backend development, integrations and production troubleshooting
• Run observability across logs, metrics, alerting and incident response
• Improve identity/auth infrastructure and contribute to security & compliance readiness
• Drive cloud cost optimization
• Plan and potentially execute a migration from Azure Germany to an EU-based hosting provider

What we are looking for.

• Someone with substantial hands-on experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in production, (this is not an entry-level role)
• Deep practical Azure expertise at production scale, including AKS, networking, storage and IAM
• Strong Kubernetes architecture & operations skills
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or similar tooling
• Experience across CI/CD pipelines, service mesh / API gateways, and production identity & auth systems
• Solid backend development skills

Nice to have.

• Cloud migration experience - lift-and-shift or re-architecture - is a strong plus
• Familiarity with EU data residency & compliance is a plus
• German Speaking, based in- or close to Vienna

We are looking for an Account Executive to drive our growth across Central and Eastern Europe. The main focus is bringing in new customers, alongside growing the accounts we already serve. You will build pipeline, run complex sales cycles and close deals with mid- sized and enterprise organisations. You win by bringing real ideas and use cases to the table rather than pitching features. You shape the opportunity, our architects and delivery teams help you prove it, and Microsoft funding programmes help you accelerate it.

Main Responsibilities

Your responsibilities cover the full sales cycle, with a strong focus on acquiring new customers.
• Identifying and winning new mid-sized and enterprise customers across CEE
• Expanding existing accounts through new use cases and follow-on engagements
• Running the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to proposal, negotiation and close
• Bringing concrete use cases and solution scenarios on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and Power BI into customer conversations
• Working with architects and delivery leads to scope MVPs, estimate engagements and structure proposals
• Securing and managing Microsoft funding (ECIF, pre-sales and deployment programmes) to de-risk and accelerate customer decisions
• Co-selling with Microsoft account teams and representing Cloud Services at events and executive briefings
• Keeping an accurate pipeline in CRM and delivering reliable forecasts.

Mandatory Requirements

• Fluent English, written and spoken, at a level suitable for negotiating with enterprise executives
• 5+ years of B2B sales experience, of which at least 3 years in IT or technology sales
• A proven track record of winning new customers and closing complex, multi- stakeholder deals, and the ability to discuss your numbers
• A solid understanding of how data platforms create business value, with the ability to translate technical discussions into business outcomes
• A structured approach to sales: disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting and CRM as a working tool.

Nice to Have

The following experience will strengthen your application but is not required.
• Experience selling IT services, consulting or implementation projects, rather than licences only (strongly preferred)
• Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI or the broader Microsoft data stack
• Experience with Microsoft partner programmes: ECIF, CSP, incentives, co-sell
• An existing network within Microsoft sales teams or enterprise IT and data leadership in CEE
• Sector depth in financial services, insurance, retail, telecom or manufacturing
• One or more CEE languages.
