About you:

• 3+ years of experience with C++;

We’re looking for a Project Manager to take ownership of delivery for a long-term fintech product built around payment aggregation and local payment provider integrations.

The platform processes real transactions in production, integrates local payment providers across multiple countries, and continues to expand into new markets. End users never see it, but it is a critical part of our client's daily operations.

Umber owns the full delivery cycle — from analysis and development to QA, releases, and continuous improvements. We're looking for a Project Manager who can become the delivery owner for this product and bring clarity to complex technical work.

We’re looking for someone who can bring order to moving parts, notice gaps, ask the right questions, follow up on blockers, and gradually take ownership of one or more delivery streams. The platform is already running in production and processes thousands of transactions every day. We are looking for an experienced Head of Media Buying to join our team. In this role, you will lead and scale performance marketing operations across Tier-1 European markets, driving user acquisition, profitability, and sustainable growth. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• You will develop and execute media buying strategies across Tier-1 European markets;
• You will manage and optimize multi-channel paid acquisition campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Programmatic/DSP, Push & In-App traffic, Influencer partnerships, ASA, and UAC;
• You will own media planning, budget allocation, and performance forecasting;
• You will manage monthly advertising budgets ranging from €300k to €1M+ while ensuring profitability and sustainable growth;
• You will monitor and improve key performance metrics such as CAC, CPA, CPI, CPL, ROAS, ROI, ROMI, LTV, Payback Period, and Contribution Margin;
• You will lead and mentor cross-functional performance teams, including Media Buyers, Creative Strategists, Designers, Analysts, and Tracking Specialists;
• You will collaborate closely with product, CRM, analytics, and creative teams to maximize acquisition and retention performance;
• You will build scalable acquisition processes, operational frameworks, and reporting structures;
• You will ensure accurate attribution, tracking, and data collection across all acquisition channels;
• You will continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaigns to identify new growth opportunities.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE

• 5+ years of experience in Performance Marketing or Media Buying;
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position such as Head of Media Buying, Performance Lead, or Acquisition Lead;
• Proven experience working with Tier-1 European markets;
• Hands-on experience managing advertising budgets of €300k–€1M+ per month;
• Strong track record of scaling profitable acquisition campaigns;
• Experience in highly competitive industries such as iGaming and Sports Betting;
• Deep understanding of acquisition economics, including CAC, CPA, CPI, CPL, ROAS, ROI, ROMI, LTV, Payback Period, Contribution Margin, Revenue Attribution, Incrementality, Cohort Analysis, Funnel Optimization, and Retention Impact;
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
• Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL/Apache Spark (AWS Glue) and Airflow.
• Model and optimize data in Amazon Redshift and query large datasets via Amazon Athena.
