    Solid Software is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
    In this role, you will focus on modernizing DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to improve reliability, security, cost efficiency, and delivery speed.

    This is a hands-on senior-level position where you will lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives, quickly dive into existing architecture, identify systemic issues, and deliver practical, well-documented improvements within a defined timeframe.

    You will work closely with engineering, platform, security, and product teams to reduce operational risk and support scalable growth.

    The position requires availability for evening meetings with a Canada-based team (up to 12:00 AM, GMT+2).

    What will you do?
     

    • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure;
    • Lead key DevOps and platform initiatives, including CI/CD modernization, GitOps adoption, and zero-downtime deployments;
    • Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable, and secure releases;
    • Identify and address technical debt, scalability challenges, and operational risks;
    • Enhance observability, monitoring, and incident response across production systems;
    • Work closely with engineering and product teams to shape infrastructure strategy;
    • Mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices;
    • Maintain clear documentation and ensure solutions support business goals.
     

    Requirements
     

    • Strong experience designing, building, and operating modern CI/CD pipelines, including GitOps approaches (ArgoCD, Flux, or similar);
    • Deep hands-on expertise with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK;
    • Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS or similar), Helm;
    • Strong programming skills in Python or Go for automation, tooling, and infrastructure workflows;
    • Expert-level knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems administration and Git;
    • Advanced understanding of cloud networking (VPC design, DNS, routing, service mesh) and cloud security (IAM, threat modeling, compliance automation);
    • Solid experience with observability, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and/or Datadog;
    • Ability to quickly understand complex systems and deliver impactful improvements within a limited contract timeframe.

    • Upper-Intermediate English (B2): Able to actively participate and lead meetings

    Key Responsibilities:

    — Lead and manage the legal team across EU operations.

    — Ensure full compliance with MiCA, AML/CTF, GDPR, and other relevant EU financial regulations.

    — Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, partnership agreements, and investor documentation.

    — Advise management on corporate structure, licensing, and risk mitigation strategies.

    — Supervise legal due diligence for token listings, exchange operations, and payment integrations.

    — Coordinate communication with external legal advisors, auditors, and regulators.

    — Monitor regulatory developments and implement internal policies accordingly.

    — Report directly to top management and participate in strategic decision-making.

     

    Requirements:

    • European location is a must!

    — Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent).

    — 5+ years of experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial law.

    — Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulations (MiCA, AMLD5/6, GDPR).

    — Proven leadership experience in managing a legal or compliance team.

    Excellent command of English (additional European languages are a plus).

    • Russian or Ukrainian is a must!

    Scope & mandate
