Jobs at Djinni

We are looking for a Senior Java Solutions Architect to join a technical discovery and risk assessment engagement, working closely with a UK-based cybersecurity and architecture team on a large enterprise Java estate.

Project: A ten-week discovery and technical assessment engagement for a UK enterprise client, focused on mapping Java runtime usage and dependency risk across an estate of roughly 200 Java endpoints and close to 9,000 related findings.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain the Java runtime inventory, confirming actual usage across environments
• Identify components that are unused and removable, that require updating, or that require formal risk acceptance
• Confirm Log4j and Tomcat dependency chains and determine whether they share a common vendor product blocker
• Interpret Veracode Software Composition Analysis (SCA) output to produce an application bill of materials
• Confirm which applications genuinely bundle vulnerable components and assess whether the vulnerable code path is reachable
• Identify components with no direct upgrade path and define remediation options

• Collaborate with client-side architecture and security teams to validate findings and assumptions

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Java platform engineering across multiple runtime generations and vendors (Oracle JDK/JRE, JRockit, OpenJDK, Azul, Corretto)
• Hands-on experience upgrading application servers and servlet containers, primarily Apache Tomcat; exposure to WebSphere is a plus
• Proven experience remediating Log4j/Log4Shell exposure in production, including cases where the component is embedded in a third-party product
• Experience resolving transitive dependency and classpath conflicts where the upgrade path is blocked by vendor versioning
• Familiarity with Veracode or a comparable software composition analysis tool
• Strong analytical mindset, able to work confidently with incomplete or conflicting source data

• Upper-Intermediate English or higher

What We Offer:

• Transparent strategy and thoughtful management that keep everyone aligned
• Space for personal growth and career development without limits
• A culture of continuous learning: internal courses, workshops, and English classes twice a week
• Skill up events where we share experience and stay on top of trends
• Competitive perks: flexible schedule, a strong compensation package, support for professional certifications, and generous vacation policy
• Team spirit that thrives through regular events, gatherings, and celebrations

B2B, remote, long-term cooperation.

About the Role

The company is developing a consumer commerce platform that combines real-time 3D interactions with the purchase of physical products, including a real-money wallet and operational workflows. The technology stack is built entirely around TypeScript. The engineering team is small and experienced, working closely with the CTO. This role is for a highly experienced individual contributor to take technical ownership of backend architecture across a customer-facing web product, an internal operations platform, and supporting services. A key part of the role involves systems where correctness and reliability have direct financial impact, such as wallet and ledger functionality, transaction settlement, verifiable outcome generation, and fulfillment workflows. The platform uses an event-driven architecture within a TypeScript monorepo, including Fastify BFF services, asynchronous workers, shared domain components backed by PostgreSQL, MongoDB for analytics, Valkey for caching, RabbitMQ for messaging, and S3-compatible storage with CDN. Infrastructure runs on AWS ECS with infrastructure-as-code and automated CI/CD. You will work closely with the CTO on architectural direction and platform evolution.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of architectural decisions across backend services, including service boundaries, data ownership, idempotency, outbox patterns, caching, and failure handling.
• Document important technical decisions and revisit them as requirements and system constraints evolve.
• Design and evolve financially sensitive functionality, including double-entry wallet accounting, payments and withdrawals, inventory settlement, and auditable outcome-generation mechanisms.
• Work across layers when necessary, from database schemas and Drizzle migrations through domain logic, Fastify APIs, asynchronous consumers, and React interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership for the internal operations platform supporting catalog, fulfillment, finance, and customer-support workflows.
• Establish engineering standards around contract-first APIs, deterministic testing, database migrations, and code-review quality.
• Mentor other engineers while maintaining a hands-on individual-contributor role.
• Own production reliability through observability, incident response, capacity planning, performance analysis, and ongoing reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 8–9+ years of professional software engineering experience, including several years with direct responsibility for architecture and technical decisions in production systems.
• Proven experience defining service boundaries, selecting appropriate storage technologies, and scaling production systems.
• Practical understanding of capacity planning, caching strategies, database connection management, performance bottlenecks, and production debugging.
• Ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs such as consistency vs. availability, synchronous vs. asynchronous communication, caching vs. source-of-truth access, and build vs. buy decisions.
• Strong server-side engineering background with Node.js/TypeScript, .NET, or Java. Engineers coming from .NET or Java should be comfortable transitioning to TypeScript.
• Deep experience with relational databases, including schema design, transactions and isolation levels, indexing, and migrations of live production systems.
• Experience using document databases and caching systems where they provide clear advantages alongside relational storage.
• Production experience with event-driven architectures, message brokers, idempotent processing, outbox patterns, and delivery guarantees.
• Experience owning financially sensitive systems such as payments, billing, ledgers, trading, or similar transaction-heavy functionality.
• Ability to document architectural decisions clearly and challenge technical assumptions when necessary.

About the Company

The company is a lean product team developing a consumer commerce platform that combines real-time 3D interactions with the purchase of physical products. The product also includes a real-money wallet and operational workflows for order processing and fulfillment. Their technology stack is built entirely around TypeScript. The engineering team is small and experienced, with engineers working closely with and reporting directly to the CTO, allowing for fast communication and decision-making.

As a Marketing Operations Manager in Warsaw, you will be responsible for driving the company’s key revenue-generating initiatives in close collaboration with the Product Owner. You will take ownership of projects end-to-end — building and improving processes, aligning teams across departments, and ensuring initiatives move forward and are delivered successfully.
This role requires someone who is independent, structured, and fast-moving, with a strong ability to turn ideas into clear processes and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Marketing Project Execution — Drive initiatives from brief to completion across newsletters, paid, social, and growth, managing timelines, owners, and dependencies across parallel workstreams.
• Newsletter Leadership & Performance — Partner with the email team to drive newsletter growth end to end, and monitor performance to surface issues early.
• Process, Systems & Reporting — Build and maintain the trackers, cadences, and SOPs that keep the team executing consistently, with clear visibility into every initiative.
• Team Leadership & Development — Lead problem-solving and reviews, run calibrated check-ins, and coach the team to bring solutions, not just problems.
• Quality Control & Follow-Through — Act as the first review layer, validating work before it progresses, and keep every initiative moving through to completion.
• AI & Smart Tooling — Use AI to accelerate the workflow, evaluate new tools, and raise AI fluency across the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in project management, with direct experience running marketing initiatives
• Marketing fluency: you understand how newsletters, paid, social, and growth work, and can contribute to strategy
• Proven ability to manage multiple marketing workstreams simultaneously without dropping quality
• Experience building and rolling out project management processes and SOPs across a team
• Hands-on AI tool use in your daily work (hard requirement) — you use them to move faster and can describe exactly how
• Strong problem-solving: root cause analysis, structured thinking, clear recommendations
• Clear, structured communication — updates, escalations, and feedback are always actionable
• Ownership mindset: you follow through, remove blockers, and drive progress without supervision
• Organisational precision across multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders at once
• Excellent written and verbal English (C1 or above)
• Ready to grow into a team leadership role as the marketing function scales

Nice to Have

• Background in newsletter, media, affiliate, or performance marketing
• Hands-on campaign experience — having run campaigns, not just managed the people who did
• Workflow automation tools such as Make, Zapier, or similar
• Project management tools: Notion, ClickUp, Asana, or Airtable
• Email platforms, newsletter operations, or audience growth metrics
• Experience working with designers, writers, QA teams, or cross-functional partners

Short overview of the project (What technology stack is used on the project, and length of the project)

AI tourism platform looking for a Team Lead Product Engineer who uses AI to ship fast.

📚 Our stack:

Backend: Go monorepo (no framework, 3+ services)

Hosting: PaaS-managed containers, local setup fully mirrors production via Docker Compose

Tools: Jaeger tracing, Betterstack (Logging, Alerting), Redis Asynq queue

Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis

AI tooling: Claude Code (mandatory)

🚢 Products you will lead a pod on:

An AI search & recommendation engine for major travel enterprises: heavy client integration work (SSO, security reviews, GDS integrations) with demanding enterprise customers

A content enrichment API: high-scale, data- and AI-focused backend work

Partner and supplier integrations, data ingestion pipelines, LLM providers

Employment and number of hours per week/month (part-time, full-time, freelance)

Engagement: full-time, 40 hours/week

Candidate’s location and required Time Zone for work

Location: remote, within ±3 hours of CET

Timezone is the main priority, so your usual scope of EU and Ukraine within the required overlap works well.

Language of communication

Language: English required

Functional responsibilities (What will an employee do on the project?)

⚠️ European or African timezones (±3 hours from CET) Available full-time (40 hours/week)

⚠️IMPORTANT: This is not a traditional coding role. You'll use Claude Code and other AI tools to 10x your output, always thinking about how the product or feature you are working on benefits the user. Also: we have no QA team, you OWN the quality of what you ship!

A Team Lead is the spokesperson, coordinator and facilitator for their pod, internally with product, design and leadership, and externally with clients. You come from the management path, not the deep-specialist path: you have seen a lot as a developer and have consciously decided that enabling a team, working with clients and driving product outcomes is what energises you now, not coding all day.

You remain a hands-on engineer. Expect roughly 30-40% of your week on coordination, client and product work, and the rest as an individual contributor. This is not an HR-style people-management role: no performance reviews, no career coaching. As we scale, light one-on-ones and check-ins may become part of it, but the job is coordination and delivery, not administration.

What you'll actually do:

Be the spokesperson for your pod, internally with product, design and leadership, and externally with clients and partners

Coordinate work across the pod: break initiatives into chunks, sequence them, surface blockers and facilitate hand-offs (lightweight project management, we deliberately have no project managers)

Gather client requirements first-hand and funnel them straight into the pod so nothing gets lost in translation

Represent your pod in product planning sessions and bring a strong product-driven point of view to scoping and trade-offs

Help pod members with product decisions and prioritisation, enabling engineers who may be technically stronger than you

Contribute hands-on as an engineer: own features end-to-end, use Claude Code to generate Golang backend code, review AI output for quality and architectural fit

Join client meetings to align on requirements, report on delivery and keep the relationship professional and calm

Requirements for a candidate

Min 5 years of experience

2-3+ years of technical leadership experience leading a team, squad, pod or similar unit (a hard must, think team lead or early-stage engineering manager)

A developer's background (5 years minimum): you have seen production reality with your own hands before moving towards leading people

A genuinely product-driven mindset: you think about user value and business outcomes before implementation

Comfort facilitating and coordinating a pod without relying on formal authority

Willingness and ability to take part in client meetings and act as the external face of your pod

Excellent spoken and written English for planning sessions, stakeholder updates and client conversations

Ownership mentality with a strive for elegantly simple, high-quality solutions; you test your own work thoroughly since we have no QA team

Proven experience using Claude Code, share specific examples

Solid Golang experience, you'll review AI's code and you must understand how it works

Ability to do on-call once in a while to help maintain our platform's reliability & uptime

Must-Have Requirements (Team Lead — no flexibility on any)

Go (Golang): Real production experience, not just personal projects. No flexibility on other technologies.

AI/backend engineering: Deep knowledge of building and productionizing complex AI systems — observability, reliability, quality

Product mindset: Ability to think beyond engineering toward product outcomes

Leadership: Capable of leading without needing coaching or internal mentoring

English communication: Very strong, given client-facing responsibilities

Minimum 5 years of experience across the board

Candidates should be responsible for testing their own code — QA ownership expected

The Team Lead will head a small pod (not a traditional manager with direct reports)

Client-facing responsibilities begin from onboarding, with full client-facing ownership expected to grow over time

Also they will have on-call duties (now it’s during working hours and weekends, rotation among team members, but later they want to have 24/7 on call, so one person will be on-call for 24 hours (probably) and it will be compensated extra).

Nice-to-Have

German language: A significant bonus but not required — the one criteria the client can flex on

Any special requirements for the person

❤️ You are a great fit if you:

Made the classic developer's fork-in-the-road decision, lifelong engineer or leading people, and chose people, clients and product

Are energised by product planning sessions and have opinions about what the pod should build next, not just how

Are comfortable being the face of your pod, in internal planning rooms and on calls with enterprise clients

Enjoy enabling engineers who are technically stronger than you

About Flamingo

Flamingo is revolutionizing the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry with an AI-driven, open-source platform for IT and security. Our goal is to empower MSPs with automation, optimization, and scalability tools to enhance their operations.

Role Overview
This role focuses on building a SaaS product with additional support for local installations. You'll own the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure from the early stages, setting the foundation for how the platform operates.

The product is fully Kubernetes-based - a multi-tenant fleet of private GKE clusters on GCP, provisioned with Terraform and reconciled by ArgoCD from our own Helm charts. Strong expertise in cluster management, automation, and container orchestration is essential. The system is high-load, so reliability is the top priority. You'll also contribute to our open-source product.

Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain GCP infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, IAM, KMS, managed databases) using Terraform

• Operate a growing fleet of private GKE clusters: administration, upgrades, capacity planning, Gateway API, custom Helm charts
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD following GitOps practices, including ephemeral per-PR environments
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Mimir, Loki, Alloy, and Grafana - dashboards and alerts as code
• Design and secure cloud networking: VPC architecture, load balancers, Cloud Armor WAF, TLS automation, NetworkPolicies
• Operate the stateful layer with engineering teams: MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra, Pinot, Redis, NATS, Cloud SQL - sizing, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery

• Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment strategies and reliability

  Qualifications
  Must-Have

• Kubernetes - strong expertise in cluster administration, workload orchestration, and GitOps practices; ability to write and maintain custom Helm Charts
• Terraform - proven experience managing infrastructure as code and operating multi-environment estates on GCP
• Cloud platforms - solid knowledge of GCP core services, including compute, storage, and managed databases; equivalent AWS depth is fine if you are ready to work GCP-first
• Cloud networking - experience with VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity
• Infrastructure security - practical experience with IAM, workload identity, secrets management, TLS, encryption (KMS/CMEK), and policy enforcement in production environments
• CI/CD workflows - experience building and maintaining pipelines with GitHub Actions/GitLab CI and ArgoCD/FluxCD
• Databases and messaging - operational knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL/Postgres, Redis, and streaming platforms such as Kafka; comfortable running stateful workloads on Kubernetes
• Observability - hands-on use of Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and similar tools for monitoring, alerting, and tracing

  Nice-to-Have
• Multi-tenant SaaS platform experience: namespace- or cluster-per-tenant models and tenant provisioning automation
• OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing, SLOs, and incident response practice
• Supply-chain and compliance work: cosign/SBOMs, image scanning, SOC 2 or ISO 27001
• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems, such as AWS Lambda, Cloud Functions, or Pub/Sub triggers
• Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source products
• Relevant certifications would be a plus

Applause is a profitable, well-capitalized operator of consumer subscription apps across privacy, security, health, productivity, and accessibility. The model is simple: acquire high-retention, category-leading apps and scale them.

The apps already have top 1% retention, strong brands, and high organic traffic, so paid growth compounds on proven products instead of propping up weak ones. There is real budget behind growth that works.

Area of influence

• You set up the growth function from scratch and own it end-to-end — the campaign infrastructure, the measurement layer, the reporting, and the playbooks that make paid growth repeatable across many apps. This is a builder-operator role: you're expected to build the systems, not just run the accounts.
• Stand up the measurement and reporting backbone yourself: pipelines from network and MMP APIs, internal dashboards, and budget/creative automations. Comfort in SQL and Python (or equivalent) to build this rather than wait on a data team is a core part of the job.
• Build and own trustworthy attribution across a multi-app portfolio: layered MMP-based setup with S2S/CAPI and event deduplication, probabilistic and network-native models (Meta AEM, TikTok Attribution Flex), with SKAN as one input among several — reconciled against your own backend numbers so the payback math holds up.
• Plan, launch, and optimize paid UA hands-on across Apple Search Ads, Google, Meta, TikTok, and paid web — owning budgets, bids, audiences, and creative testing against payback and CAC targets per app.
• Build and pressure-test your own cohorted LTV and payback models rather than trusting platform-reported ROAS — and use that predicted-LTV number as the gauge for budget and profitability decisions across every app.
• Drive organic acquisition in parallel with paid — ASO, store-listing conversion, and web-to-app / web-to-web flows — so the top of the funnel grows through every lever, not just paid spend.
• Generate the experiment roadmap independently: bring your own ideas for new channels, creative angles, and tests, size them by expected payback, and run them without waiting for a task list.
• Own secondary paywall and funnel optimization, and coordinate lifecycle (email/push) support — partnering with the lifecycle and analytics hires so monetization and retention keep pace with the traffic you drive.
• Report results, learnings, and forecasts to the CEO weekly, and brief app GMs on what's working, what isn't, and what you need from them to scale. Flat structure, direct communication, fast decisions.

Who are we looking for

• Has personally deployed meaningful paid spend at a consumer subscription company (on the order of $10M+/year, or smaller budgets run with real rigor), with direct ownership of the numbers and outcomes.
• Genuinely technical: builds their own reporting, attribution, and automation in SQL/Python — not just an operator of dashboards someone else maintains. Has stood up API pipelines and rules-based ad-management automations before.
• Deep, hands-on fluency with the modern app-growth stack — an MMP (AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular), a product-analytics tool (Amplitude/Mixpanel), paywall/funnel tooling, and lifecycle (Customer.io or similar) — or has built the equivalent in-house, with strong, specific opinions on which tools to use and why.
• Modern about measurement: comfortable with probabilistic and network-native attribution, SKAN-aware, and runs real incrementality checks. Builds and pressure-tests LTV and payback models rather than taking platform ROAS at face value.
• Has operated across multiple apps or product lines at once and can context-switch across a broad portfolio (three to seven-plus apps) without letting performance slip.
• Thinks in unit economics and profitability thresholds, works well in a flat, communicative team, and is proactive — brings the roadmap rather than waiting for one.

Team & Background

A genuine player-coach: expected to execute campaigns directly today, with a clear path to hire and lead a small growth team as the portfolio scales.

Knows exactly what to keep in-house versus outsource, and can name the first few hires and vendors they would line up for each function.

Background skews scrappy and operator-heavy rather than corporate: founders, early-stage operators, and people who have built a growth function from zero
