Payments Partnerships Manager (PSP / EMI / Acquiring | Merchant Onboarding)

On behalf of our client, an international fintech company specializing in high-risk and complex merchant segments, we are hiring a Payments Partnerships Manager to own both payment provider relationships and merchant onboarding execution.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role.

We are looking for someone who has worked inside a PSP, EMI, acquirer, or payment institution, and understands how onboarding decisions are actually made,  including underwriting expectations, risk appetite, and approval mechanics.

What You’ll Own:

• End-to-end merchant onboarding with PSPs, EMIs, acquirers, and banks — from first submission to final approval
• Direct communication with underwriting, risk, and compliance teams on the provider side
• Building and managing PSP / EMI / banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions
• Structuring and optimizing KYB packages, merchant profiles, and onboarding documentation
• Matching merchants with the right providers based on risk appetite, vertical, and geography
• Increasing approval rates by pre-qualifying and positioning merchants correctly
• Identifying and onboarding new payment partners (PSPs / EMIs / acquirers)
• Handling complex and high-risk cases (crypto, iGaming, fintech, etc.)
• Maintaining structured pipeline tracking via CRM and internal tools
