Senior Fullstack Developer (Java / Angular / AI Integration)

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to build and enhance modern enterprise web applications by combining robust Java/Angular fullstack engineering with cutting-edge AI features. In this role, you will take ownership of software architecture, design scalable microservices, and integrate LLM-based capabilities, AI agents, and agentic workflows into production systems.

Language Proficiency: English at level Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher AND German at level B2+ or higher

What You Will Do

• Fullstack Development: Develop and enhance modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.
• API & System Design: Architect and implement backend microservices, REST APIs, reusable frontend components, and relational database schemas.
• AI & Agentic Workflows: Design, develop, and integrate LLM-based features, AI agents, and autonomous agentic workflows into production products.
• Architecture & Cloud: Contribute to cloud-native service architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Quality & Reliability: Implement automated tests, conduct thorough code reviews, and optimize application performance and system stability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners, System Architects, and business stakeholders in distributed Agile teams.

What We Are Looking For

Core Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with substantial fullstack background.
• 5+ years of hands-on production experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• 4+ years of experience with REST APIs, relational databases, and SQL.
• Practical experience with LLM-based applications, AI agents, tool/function calling, or agentic workflows (production experience is a strong plus).
• Strong foundation in Software Architecture, Clean Code, automated testing, and Git.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern Agile engineering practices.
• Independent, structured working style with proven ability to own technical solutions end-to-end.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RAG, prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and multi-agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Claude Code, MCP).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic SDK, Azure OpenAI).
• Deep understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures (Kafka), and Security (Spring Security, OAuth2/OIDC, OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Containerization & Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform.
• Database & Build Tooling: PostgreSQL, Hibernate/JPA, Maven, Gradle.
• Testing & Integration: GraphQL, Testcontainers, Playwright.
