β Develop and manage performance and load testing scenarios using k6 β including ramp-up profiles, thresholds, data parameterization, and result analysis.
β Integrate automated tests into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and transparent execution.
β Lead and mentor QA engineers through code reviews, training, and personal development plans.
β Collaborate with architects and developers to define testable requirements, acceptance criteria, and SLO/SLA metrics.
β Track and continuously improve quality KPIs (defect leakage, flaky rate, coverage, MTTD/MTTR).
β Maintain test data and environment management strategies, using mocks, stubs, and contract testing when necessary.
β Drive continuous improvement and promote a shift-left testing culture across teams.
π Your qualifications:
β 5+ years of experience in QA, including 2+ years in a Lead or Senior Automation role.
β Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills (3+ years) with hands-on experience in Playwright (fixtures, projects, traces, parallel execution, retries).
β Proven track record of building automation frameworks from scratch β including structure, configuration, reporting, and CI integration.
β Solid experience with k6: writing JS-based load tests, configuring thresholds, designing ramp/spike/soak tests, and analyzing metrics.
β Experience with performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
β CI/CD proficiency: GitHub Actions or GitLab CI (parallelization, caching, artifact management).
β Strong background in API testing (REST/GraphQL), contract testing (Pact/OpenAPI), and tools like Postman or Newman.
β Working knowledge of SQL and basic NoSQL databases (querying, seeding, transactions).
β Familiarity with Docker and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
β Understanding of clean test design principles (SOLID, test pyramid, modular architecture).
