• Build and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Express.js.
• Integrate third-party APIs for international payments, financial services, and crypto infrastructure.
• Work with providers such as Bridge and similar payment and stablecoin infrastructure services.
• Implement blockchain integrations, on-chain interactions, and crypto-related workflows.
• Design and maintain MongoDB schemas and data models.
• Build responsive frontend interfaces and connect them to backend services.
• Implement webhooks, asynchronous workflows, transaction status tracking, and error handling.
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor applications on AWS.
• Use Claude and other AI-powered development tools throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code quality, and developer experience.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
• Experience building backend services and APIs with Express.js.
• Practical experience with MongoDB and database-driven applications.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs into production products.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based application deployment.
• Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of crypto, blockchain fundamentals, and on-chain transactions.
• Experience using Claude or similar AI coding tools as part of everyday development.
• Ability to work independently, solve technical challenges, and deliver features end to end.

Nice to Have

• Experience with fintech, international payments, or cross-border payment systems.
• Previous integrations with Bridge or similar payment and crypto infrastructure providers.
• Experience with stablecoins, crypto wallets, blockchain APIs, or smart contracts.
• Familiarity with Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks.
• Experience with AWS services, background jobs, queues, and distributed systems.
• Experience building developer platforms, public APIs, or SDKs.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an AI-first engineer who actively uses Claude to research, implement, debug, and improve code while maintaining a strong understanding of the systems being built.

You’re passionate about developer platforms and enjoy making complex integrations simple and reliable. You can move comfortably between frontend and backend development, connect external services, and build practical solutions involving payment systems and blockchain infrastructure.

You value speed, ownership, and maintainable code over unnecessary complexity.

What We Offer

• The opportunity to build a product at the intersection of international payments, crypto, and blockchain.
• An AI-first development workflow using modern tools such as Claude.
• A lean team, direct communication, and ownership of technical decisions.
• The opportunity to work on real-world financial infrastructure and API integrations.

If you enjoy full-stack development, API-driven products, crypto infrastructure, and AI-assisted engineering, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Project

A US-based group of four companies is building its ERP from scratch on Odoo 19. Nothing implemented yet, no legacy, no previous contractor: you set the architecture from day one and stay on as the system’s owner.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the Odoo solution design and technical decisions across four company databases
• Configure core modules: Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Projects, Field Service, Fleet, Maintenance, HR
• Build custom modules, integrations, and automations in Python/XML where native Odoo is not enough
• Migrate, validate, and reconcile master data and open transactions
• Validate in staging and deploy to production: full deployment authority, no sign-off per release
• Run cutovers, train users, and support the system after go-live
• Use AI as a working tool for development, analysis, testing, and documentation

Must Have

• 3+ years of hands-on Odoo development and implementation
• Completed end-to-end Odoo implementations taken to go-live
• Python, XML, PostgreSQL, Odoo ORM and APIs, custom module development
• Odoo Accounting and core operational apps
• Data migration and reconciliation
• Experience as a solution architect or product owner on Odoo projects
• Practical AI use in development or implementation
• Confident working English, daily communication with a US team

Nice to Have

• Multi-company/multi-entity environments
• Odoo.sh: staging, production deploy, backup, rollback
• Odoo 17 / 18 / 19

Conditions

• Fully remote
• US schedule, Mountain Time, 8 am - 5 pm
• You work in a pair with the company’s in-house business analyst; you report directly to the CEO
• No test task, selection by portfolio, interview and verification of past implementations
• Long horizon: four companies to roll out, then permanent ownership
