About the Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the architecture of the financial core, including account model, double-entry ledger, settlement flows, and reconciliation.
• Develop the core as the system of record and systematically reduce remaining vendor dependencies.

• Own the content and creative pipeline, from briefs to copy, visuals, and assets across web, social, and print
• Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints (website, landing pages, social, sales materials, print)
• Translate business goals into clear creative briefs for internal work and external partners (designers, agencies, freelancers)
• Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to make sure brand and performance pull in the same direction, creative that converts, not just looks good
• Own PR and external communications, press releases, media relations, and building the public presence of both brands
• Plan and organize our event presence, trade fairs, industry events, and company appearances, from concept to on-site execution
• Willing and able to travel to events and trade fairs, and to visit our office in Munich, Germany, when it is needed
   

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proven brand or marketing experience, ideally across more than one brand or in a group/multi-brand setting
• A strong sense for positioning, storytelling, and visual identity, you can make a brand feel like itself
• Solid creative judgment paired with commercial thinking, you understand that brand exists to drive the business
• Comfortable writing and reviewing German copy at a high standard
• Very good German (minimum C1) a short test task is part of our selection process
• Able to manage two brands in parallel without blurring them together
• Independent, reliable, and comfortable working fully remote

Betsa GmbH is a general contractor specialising in energy-efficient building renovation. We serve property owners and investors, primarily in and around Munich.
 

Two brands, two very different buyers, one shared goal: a paid acquisition engine that produces qualified leads our sales team actually wants to call.
 

The role

We are building our marketing department from the ground up, and paid advertising is the first pillar. You will own it — end to end, for both brands.

This is not a role where you inherit a tidy account and optimise bids by 3%. You will build the structure, define the tracking, set the strategy, and be accountable for cost per qualified lead. You get real budget, direct access to decision-makers, and no agency layer between you and the results.
 

If you want to point at a pipeline in twelve months and say "I built that," this is the role.
 

What you will do

Strategy & campaign management

• Own the full paid media strategy for PILLAR (B2B, considered purchase, long sales cycle) and Betsa (regional, high-intent, homeowner and investor-driven)
• Plan, build, launch and optimise campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube), Microsoft Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn
• Manage monthly budgets across both brands, including pacing, forecasting and reallocation between channels based on performance
• Run structured testing programmes: ad copy, creative, audiences, landing pages, bidding strategies
   

Tracking & data

• Own conversion tracking end to end: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion actions, offline conversion import from our CRM
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards (Looker Studio or equivalent) that show cost per lead, lead quality and pipeline contribution — not just clicks
• Close the loop with sales: track which campaigns produce leads that close, and shift spend accordingly
   

Content & collaboration

• Write and iterate German-language ad copy that converts
• Brief and collaborate with our Brand Manager and designers on creative assets for paid social
• Brief landing pages and work with the team on conversion rate optimisation
• Feed insights back into the wider marketing and sales strategy — keyword demand, competitor activity, seasonality
   

Compliance & hygiene

• Ensure campaigns and landing pages meet German legal and platform requirements (GDPR, consent management, ad policy)
• Maintain account hygiene: negative keyword lists, audience exclusions, naming conventions, documented account structure
   

What we are looking for

Must have

• 3+ years of hands-on PPC experience, managing accounts yourself rather than supervising others
• Proven track record across both Google Ads and paid social — we need one person who can do both well
• Lead generation experience (not exclusively e-commerce/ROAS)
• Solid working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager; you can set up and debug tracking without waiting for a developer
• German Language at least B2) — you will write the ads
• Analytical mindset: you can explain what happened, why, and what you will do next, backed by data
• Self-directed working style; you can operate without daily supervision and set your own priorities
   

Nice to have

• Experience in construction, renovation, renewables, solar or another technical B2B/high-consideration category
• LinkedIn Ads experience for B2B lead generation
• CRM experience and comfort with lead-to-close reporting
• Basic HTML/CSS or hands-on experience with landing page builders
• Ukrainian language skills (used in parts of our organisation)
   

What success looks like

First 30 days: You have audited both accounts, mapped the current tracking setup, identified the gaps, and presented a prioritised plan.

First 90 days: Tracking is trustworthy for both brands. Campaign structure is rebuilt where needed. Reporting shows cost per qualified lead by channel, and you have a testing roadmap running.

First 6 months: Paid acquisition is a predictable, reportable lead source for PILLAR and Betsa, with a documented playbook per brand and a clear case for where the next euro of budget should go.

Two brands, two audiences, one design function — yours.

The role
 

We are building our marketing department from scratch, and design is where most of it becomes visible. You will be the person who turns our products, projects and pitches into something people actually want to look at.
 

Roughly two thirds of your work is digital: landing pages, website design and ad creative. The rest is presentations and brand collateral — sales decks, product one-pagers, trade fair materials. You will work closely with our PPC Specialist (who needs creative that converts) and with sales (who need decks that win meetings).
 

This is a builder's role. Our brand systems exist but are young. You will not just execute inside a finished style guide — you will help finish it.
 

What you will do

Web & landing page design

• Design landing pages for paid campaigns and organic traffic across both brands — conversion-oriented, mobile-first, built around a clear message hierarchy
• Own the visual design of our websites (pillar-de.com, betsa.de): page layouts, component design, iterative improvements
• [Build and maintain pages directly in our CMS / Hand off designs to development — specify]
• Work with the PPC Specialist on landing page variants for A/B testing
   

Graphic & brand design

• Produce ad creative for Google Display, Meta and LinkedIn — including sizing families and iterations for testing
• Design product one-pagers, datasheets, case studies and reference project sheets
• Create trade fair and print materials: roll-ups, banners, brochures, booth graphics (e.g. Intersolar Europe)
• Prepare project photography and product imagery for use across channels
• Extend and maintain the brand systems for both brands: colour, type, iconography, layout rules, asset libraries
   

Presentation design

• Design sales presentations, partner and co-branded decks, and management-level reports
• Turn rough content from sales and leadership into clear, structured, visually consistent slides
• Build reusable master templates in PowerPoint and Google Slides so the team can self-serve for everyday decks
   

Systems & efficiency

• Maintain an organised, accessible asset library — the team should find the right logo, image or template without asking you
• Create templates and components that reduce repeat requests
• Manage your own queue across two brands and communicate realistic timelines
   

What we are looking for

Must have

• A portfolio that shows web/landing page design and presentation or brand collateral work — we need both, not a specialist in one
• 3+ years of professional design experience, agency or in-house
• Strong command of Figma plus Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Genuine web design competence: responsive layout, type at scale, understanding of what is realistic to build and how design decisions affect load speed and conversion
• Real presentation design skill in PowerPoint and Google Slides — this is a core part of the job, not an afterthought
• Ability to work from a brief, ask the right questions, and deliver without heavy supervision
• Professional English; German is a strong plus (you will be laying out German copy, which behaves very differently from English)
   

Nice to have

• Video: short-form editing for social, simple motion graphics, animated ad variants (Premiere, After Effects, CapCut)
• 3D visualisation or rendering (Blender, SketchUp, Twinmotion) — highly relevant for carport and mounting system visuals
• Hands-on build experience in [WordPress / Webflow / your CMS]
• Print production knowledge: CMYK, bleed, prepress files
• Experience in construction, industrial, technical or B2B categories
   

What success looks like

First 30 days: You have audited the existing assets for both brands, identified what is inconsistent or missing, and delivered your first landing page and first deck.

First 90 days: Both brands have a working template system — slides, ad formats, one-pagers — and campaign creative ships on the PPC schedule rather than holding it up.

First 6 months: Anyone in the company can produce an on-brand document without designing from scratch, and our landing pages and decks look like they belong to companies twice our size.
