    Responsibilities:

    • Consulting, selection and configuration of server hardware, including CPU, RAM, drives, RAID, HBA, network cards and other components
    • Compatibility testing of components and conducting burn-in tests
    • Hardware setup and configuration optimization
    • Initial server configuration: base OS installation, RAID array setup and network interface configuration
    • Hardware inventory management, including rack placement planning
    • RMA process participation: troubleshooting, vendor interaction
    • Remote Hands support: creating clear tasks for on-site technical personnel regarding component replacement/relocation
    • Hardware cleaning and preparation for recommissioning
    • Collaboration with technical division engineers, ensuring proper infrastructure handover to the next operational level

    Requirements:

    • Strong knowledge of server hardware (architecture, components, troubleshooting)
    • Experience working with equipment from Supermicro, Dell, HP, and others
    • Knowledge of basic RAID configuration principles, network interfaces, BMC/IPMI
    • Experience with inventory systems and asset tracking
    • Experience with server hardware automation and provisioning systems (Ansible, MaaS, The Foreman, Tinkerbell, PXE/iPXE, etc.)
    • Experience working with Linux operating systems
    • Technical English — sufficient for reading documentation and communicating with support

    Preferably:

    • Experience working in a data center or with an IaaS provider
    • Knowledge of RMA processes with major vendors
    • Experience using remote management tools (IPMI, iDRAC, iLO)
    • Experience with monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana)
    • Programming experience or scripting in one of the languages (Bash, Python)

    Responsibilities:

    • Optimize the use of power, cooling, space, and other resources in data centers (DC)
    • Development and management of the company’s infrastructure. Implementation of new tools, practices, approaches, equipment, and industrial standards within DCIM
    • Ensuring the company’s infrastructure management system’s high availability, monitoring, and reliability
    • Development, implementation, and tracking of equipment and work standards in the DC
    • Find the best solutions to meet customer needs
    • Communication with partners and suppliers
    • Design and commissioning of new racks and cages in the DC
    • Close work with field engineers in data centers

    Requirements:

    • In-depth knowledge of the DC structure
    • Knowledge of the principles and experience in finding and solving problems of cooling, power supply, and energy distribution in DC
    • Knowledge of basic principles of physics applied in DCs
    • Experience with various systems in guaranteed power supply circuits (generators, UPS, DRUPS, PDU, ATS)
    • Knowledge of operating with ODFs, patch-panels, dark-fibers, operator connections, and LOA
    • Knowledge of standards and best practices in cable management and experience in planning and installing cable systems within the DC. Сopper and optical connectivity standards
    • Experience in deploying and managing infrastructure in DCs or an IaaS provider
    • English not lower than Upper-Intermediate
    • Availability for business trips

    Preferably:

    • Experience with DCIM platforms
    • Experience with several commercial DCs
    • Knowledge of the principles of CDN
    • Negotiating experience
    • Experience with monitoring systems (preferably Zabbix)
    • Experience in programming or scripting in Bash or Python
    • Experience in Linux system administration
    • Experience in installing and upgrading server and network equipment (Dell, HP, Supermicro, Cisco, Juniper)
