Requirements:

• 4-5+ years of experience in C/C++ development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions and a deep understanding of the language's strengths and weaknesses
• Experience with GoLang - 6 months
• Experience with cloud services, kubernetes, docker
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining back-end distributed systems, including architectures, data models, and communication protocols
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and query optimization
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve software performance issues, including profiling, code analysis, and performance tuning
• Excitement for tackling performance optimization and refactoring of existing system

About the Role: 
As a Manual QA Engineer, you’ll be the voice of quality inside Coro’s fast-moving R&D teams. Every release you greenlight is a release that shields thousands of SMBs from ransomware, phishing, and data breaches. This role is about designing rigorous, thoughtful test strategies, validating new modules, and driving efficiency so the platform stays resilient as it grows.

You’ll focus on manual testing while gaining opportunities to grow into automation, collaborating closely with developers and product teams in a dynamic, agile environment. This is your chance to make a real impact, advance your skills, and help deliver reliable solutions trusted worldwide.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own the full quality lifecycle for new and existing features, including planning, manual testing, regression, and release support.
• Perform manual testing of web applications (approx. 80% focus), with opportunities to grow into automation and reduce manual cycles over time.
• Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, team leads) to ensure product quality, reliability, and user experience.
• Participate in feature kickoff meetings; create and execute test plans from requirements and design documents.
• Manage and document QA work using Jira, including writing clear, well-structured bug reports and test cases.
• Support release processes, including regression/smoke testing and quarterly or monthly Sunday release cycles (with compensatory time off).
• Contribute to sprint reviews and demos, presenting or recording product functionality and results.
• Analyze logs to identify errors/exceptions and provide input for debugging.

• Drive continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements, automation opportunities, and quality best practices.

   

Required Competence and Skills:

• A minimum of 3 years of QA experience
