This is not a chatbot wrapper, not a demo, and not a pet project.
Our systems operate around real-world workflows: ticket sales, payments, stadium shows, scanners, live event operations, approvals, and time-sensitive business processes.
We are looking for a strong Senior Python Backend Engineer who can build reliable AI-powered infrastructure in production.

 

What you’ll build

You’ll work on the core AI runtime layer, including:
 

• Async AI workers and orchestration runtime
• Event-driven pipelines and queue processing
• LLM integrations with OpenAI / Anthropic
• LLM proxy layer and structured output validation
• Retries, timeouts, DLQ and failure handling

Tech stack

About the role

We're building a performance marketing team from scratch, and email is a core channel for retention, reactivation, and lifecycle communication. This role owns all email communication across the company — transactional, marketing, and campaign-based — and works at the intersection of marketing and product to create a seamless user experience across web and mobile.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the email channel: strategy, execution, and performance across all communication types (transactional, broadcast, campaign, lifecycle flows).
• Design, build, and optimize automated flows and trigger-based sequences across the full user lifecycle — from onboarding and activation through engagement, re-engagement, and win-back.
• Develop segmentation strategies based on user behavior, product usage signals, and audience attributes to increase relevance and channel efficiency.
• Run systematic A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing, frequency, and flow logic. Formulate hypotheses, execute tests, and implement learnings.
• Work with users that enter the funnel (e.g., blog subscribers, quiz completions) but don't convert — build nurture sequences to move them toward action without aggressive frequency, respecting the sensitive nature of the product.

• Own email content creation and ideation — propose new campaigns, communication angles, and lifecycle touchpoints.
• Manage deliverability: domain health, sender reputation, spam rate monitoring, list hygiene.
• Build and maintain regular reporting on channel performance — open rates, CTR, conversion, unsubscribe rates, revenue attribution per flow.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing in a product company (SaaS, marketplace, or subscription-based product/edtech).

About the role

We're building a performance marketing team, and this role is central to how we grow — owning conversion rates across all marketing touchpoints and the full user journey from first page view to first paid session. You'll work at the intersection of marketing, product, and engineering to generate, test, and scale ideas that move our core metrics: conversion rate, new clients, and CAC.

Responsibilities

• Own conversion performance across all marketing surfaces: main website, blog, landing pages, campaign funnels, and any new acquisition flows.
