Your responsibilities: 
 

• Build highly performant scalable PHP based SaaS applications.
• The main responsibilities will focus on the latest Angular, with occasional involvement in crafting backend features using PHP 8.3 and Symfony. 
• Develop solutions to deliver new innovative products for web and mobile platforms using the project RESTful APIs running in AWS.
• Work closely with the wider engineering team (full-stack, backend), designers, and product.
• Be included in decisions and challenge our technical direction.
• Design and develop code with performance, usability, maintainability, and security in mind.
• Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure we deliver quality work for our customers.

• Create and maintain internal technical documentation for deliverables.

   

Your skills and experience:
 

• 4+ years of relevant experience in a software engineering role.
• Experience building large-scale consumer web/mobile applications and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of PHP + Symfony framework.
• Knowledge of TypeScript (Angular preferred) to create interactive user interfaces.
• Up to date with the latest frontend libraries, frameworks, and practices.
• Passionate about writing clean code.
• You must be a quick learner and be flexible about what technologies you use. 
• Good understanding of MVC and SOLID principles.
• Experience with multi-tenancy would be a plus.
• Experience in implementing web services with a REST and Web API architecture
• You must be comfortable with rapid development in a Scrum / Agile environment and iterating based on market and customer feedback.
• Knowledge of Unit testing

We are seeking an experienced Mid–Senior/Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE) to join our team working on a next-generation cloud and quantum computing platform. This role involves building backend services, orchestration components, and cloud-based workflows that support high-scale, advanced computing scenarios.

You will contribute to a critical new project focused on backend development and DevOps pipeline implementation. The team also follows a rotating one-week on-call schedule during business hours.

We are looking for a strong engineer with deep backend expertise, solid cloud experience, and the ability to operate with ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements
 

• Strong proficiency in C# / .NET;
• Solid experience developing REST APIs and backend services;
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud;
• Practical experience with Python (automation, scripting, tooling);
• Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling;
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, MSTest, or TAEF);
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling;
• Shell scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash);

Working conditions

• On-site requirement: Bellevue / Greater Seattle Area — presence in the office required once every 2 weeks for collaboration sessions with the client team;
