Job Description

• Develop and maintain the Android POS Platform, a suite of 10+ applications and various libraries and modules

SoftPeak is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, performance, and seamless delivery pipelines.
 

You will play a key role throughout the development lifecycle from planning to deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Architecture & Automation: Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure using tools like Terraform, ensuring alignment with long-term product and platform goals.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and optimize CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), enabling smooth, automated delivery and deployment of services across environments.
• Systems Integration & Cloud Operations: Collaborate with backend and platform teams to integrate systems and manage cloud infrastructure, particularly within AWS, ensuring efficient and secure operations.
• Monitoring, Reliability & On-Call Support: Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems; uphold SLAs, perform incident response, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and reliability. 

Required experience with:

• 2+ years of hands-on DevOps experience working on complex, high-load projects;
• Designing scalable and resilient infrastructure in close collaboration with development teams;
• AWS and its ecosystem;
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, etc.) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, etc.)
• Infrastructure monitoring and alerting solutions
• Terraform
• On-premise and offline deployment configurations
