    About the role:

    We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Front-End Developer to join our diverse and collaborative engineering team at PRNEWS.IO.

     

    In this role, you'll focus on developing and maintaining dynamic, high-performance user interfaces for a high-load web application using React and JavaScript. A strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and experience with test automation will be a significant plus. You'll work closely with the Team Lead Engineer and contribute to creating seamless, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for our global platform.

     

    What you'll do:

    • Develop and maintain scalable web applications and UI components using React
    • Apply modern best practices in web development to ensure optimal user experience
    • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code
    • Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability
    • Work with REST APIs, and understand the principles of HTTP, Ajax, and modern frontend architectures
    • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality across the team
    • Support and help evolve our test automation framework

    What we're looking for:

    • 7+ years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and TypeScript in production environments
    • Deep understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem (contexts, closures, prototypes, inheritance, etc.)
    • Experience building reusable components, internal UI libraries, and tools for engineering teams
    • Proficiency in frontend performance tuning and debugging complex interface issues
    • Experience with version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket
    • Strong understanding of modern web delivery chains - from build tools to deployment
    • Excellent communication skills - ability to explain complex topics and align across multiple teams
    • A collaborative mindset and desire to mentor, support, and learn with the team
    • Passion for delivering polished and intuitive experiences to end users

    • Hands-on experience in the implementation and maintenance of Palo Alto / Checkpoint Firewall systems and a deep understanding of working with L2/L3/L7 Policies
    • Familiarity with security tooling such as WAF, FW, CSPM, CNAPP, EDR, SIEM, SOAR, DLP
    • Ability to conduct investigations into information security events – analysis of network and application-based events, issuing IOCs and implementing them in the systems
    • Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of security challenges and driving solutions
