Team and Customer

We are a team of engineers based in Lviv seeking a talented Manual QA Engineer to join us. You will be working with us for a US-based customer. All engineers are located in Ukraine which means that all important architectural decisions are being made here locally, so you won’t have late calls with the team members from the US. This also means that all knowledge of the system is available on our side so you won’t be blocked by some knowledge holders that are located overseas.

Our customer is not backed by venture capital but by reliable source of business revenue. This means that we are self-funded and don’t experience pressure from the venture capital to cut roles in Ukraine due to “country risks”. You may be already aware that this is quite common lately.

The reason why we are hiring is due to business growth. We see that by leveraging technology and smart people we can empower the business to growth further.

Product

At a high-level, the product we are working on is a service for ticket brokers that collects terabytes of information from the internet and processes it. Later on this data is processed and presented to clients so they can make a decision on which tickets to buy.

From the technical perspective this product is both interesting and challenging. It is very far from being a simple CRUD application. It is rather a set of different systems that are aimed at retrieving terabytes of data from the internet and process it efficiently and reliably.

Here are some technical details that might be interesting to know:

• To fulfill our business automation needs we run about 80~ chrome browsers 24/7
• We have constant load on the system of roughly 20-40 requests/second. Sometimes there are spikes that we need to tackle and stay resilient and responsive. While this number might not sound impressive, it is worth to note that we have to guarantee system reliability 24/7 and that some of the requests require browser interventions that leads to high resource allocations
• Our current infrastructure is backed by K8S cluster, that in total has 126 CPUs cores and 482GB of RAM as of the moment of writing.

Requirements

• Basic hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (internship, freelance, or personal projects welcome).
• Understanding of core performance marketing metrics: CPA, ROAS, LTV, budgeting.
• Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and domains quickly.
• English level: Intermediate+.
• Familiarity with A/B testing concepts is a plus.
   

Nice to Have

• Any experience with TikTok Ads, Google Ads, or other UA channels.
• Understanding of iOS 14.5+ impact on performance marketing.
• Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Tableau, or Jira.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, analytics, or a related field.

About the role:

We are building tomorrow’s web-based platform-independent and high-performing solutions for viewing dental scans and performing sophisticated dental restorative work and dental CAD in general. Our solutions are developed in JavaScript and Angular with the foundation based on C++, the VTK framework, and WASM.

We are a team of 12 people based in Copenhagen and Kyiv seeking you as our new colleague. We see learning as an integral part of daily work, and we take pride in experimenting and learning from experience.

Your profile:

· 5+ years of software development experience

· Extensive and documented practical experience with and knowledge of modern C++ on a very senior level for big projects, especially with inter-language interoperability, type libraries and concurrent programming

· Experience with POSIX threads and working with ABIs

· Working experience with WASM or at least embedded software development,

· Solid experience with and willingness to teach others in these areas,

· A degree in Computer Science or Engineering

· Attention to details

· Familiar with Scrum or another agile framework

· Strong collaboration and communication skills and good in written and spoken English

· Excited about cross-site work: Your team is in Copenhagen and Kyiv, and our partners are around the globe.

Would be a plus:

· Knowledge of VTK framework

· Knowledge of 3D rendering problems and techniques

· Experience working in cross-functional teams; with product managers, designers, and UX’ers

· Experience with writing unit tests

· Experience in Agile development and continuous integration tools
