Universal Parallel is a technology-driven digital advertising company working at the intersection of media, AI, automation, and advanced AdTech infrastructure.

We help brands and agencies plan, activate, and optimize digital advertising campaigns across major platforms including YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and other digital channels.

Today, a significant part of our new business comes through partners and reseller relationships.

Our next commercial challenge is to build a stronger direct sales channel — creating our own relationships with agencies and advertisers and developing an additional, scalable source of new business.

We are looking for a Head of Sales to build this function from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a zero-to-one commercial role.

We are looking for a hands-on commercial leader who can start from a relatively blank page: understand our business, explore the market, determine where the strongest opportunities are, develop the sales strategy, build the pipeline, and personally turn opportunities into revenue.

You will have significant ownership over how Universal Parallel approaches direct sales.

This includes determining which markets and client segments to prioritize, developing our commercial proposition, building relationships with agencies and advertisers, creating the sales process, and personally leading strategic opportunities from first conversation through closing.

This is a player-coach role with a strong emphasis on “player.”

At this stage, success will come from personally building relationships and winning business — not from managing an existing sales organization.

Your Mission

Build Universal Parallel’s direct sales engine from the ground up and turn it into a predictable source of new clients and revenue alongside our existing partner and reseller channels.

You will help answer — and then execute against — the fundamental commercial questions:

• Who should Universal Parallel sell to?
• Which international markets have the strongest potential?
• Where should we prioritize agencies versus direct advertisers?
• Which verticals and client segments offer the strongest opportunity?
• What is our strongest commercial proposition?
• How should we position Universal Parallel against alternative solutions?
• Which acquisition channels generate the highest-quality opportunities?
• What should our sales process look like?
• What commercial infrastructure do we need in order to scale?

This role is about finding those answers through a combination of strategy, market feedback, experimentation, and hands-on selling.

What You’ll Do

Build the Sales Strategy

• Develop Universal Parallel’s direct sales strategy from the ground up.
• Analyze the business, existing client base, partner ecosystem, capabilities, and commercial model.
• Define and continuously refine ICPs.
• Identify priority markets, client segments, verticals, agencies, and target accounts.
• Determine where Universal Parallel has the strongest right to win.
• Develop go-to-market approaches for different client segments.
• Define commercial priorities based on market potential and actual sales feedback.

Explore & Validate the Market

• Test different markets, client segments, propositions, and acquisition approaches.
• Speak directly with agencies, advertisers, and industry stakeholders.
• Gather market intelligence and understand how potential clients perceive Universal Parallel’s proposition.
• Identify recurring client needs, commercial barriers, and buying triggers.
• Use actual market feedback and pipeline data to refine the sales strategy.
• Identify which sales motions have the strongest potential to scale.

Personally Drive New Business

• Build relationships with media agencies, direct advertisers, and relevant strategic partners.
• Develop relationships with senior decision-makers across Marketing, Media, Digital, Procurement, and agency leadership.
• Generate opportunities through targeted outbound activity, networking, referrals, industry relationships, and strategic account development.
• Personally open doors and create new commercial conversations.
• Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of potential business.

Own the Full Sales Cycle

• Lead opportunities from initial contact through signed commercial agreement.
• Conduct discovery and understand client objectives, media challenges, budgets, buying cycles, and decision-making processes.
• Translate Universal Parallel’s capabilities into relevant commercial solutions.
• Develop and lead pitches and presentations.
• Work with internal teams to prepare proposals and commercial solutions.
• Handle objections and competitive positioning.
• Lead pricing and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain momentum throughout complex sales cycles.
• Close new business and generate revenue.

Develop the Commercial Proposition

• Translate Universal Parallel’s technology, media capabilities, expertise, and campaign results into clear commercial propositions.
• Identify which capabilities create the strongest differentiation in the market.
• Develop propositions for different types of agencies and advertisers.
• Work with Management and internal experts to build sales materials, case studies, pitches, and proof points.
• Continuously refine positioning based on client conversations and market feedback.

Build Sales Infrastructure

• Design the sales process from prospecting through qualification, discovery, pitching, proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
• Establish clear CRM standards and funnel stages.
• Define qualification criteria.
• Introduce structured pipeline management.
• Establish forecasting and sales reporting.
• Define relevant commercial KPIs.
• Build repeatable sales cadences and playbooks based on validated approaches.

The objective is not to introduce process for the sake of process, but to create enough structure to make sales measurable, predictable, and eventually scalable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work directly with Management on company growth strategy and commercial priorities.
• Collaborate with Growth Account Management, Account Management, AdOps, Finance, and other internal teams.
• Ensure commercial propositions are operationally deliverable and financially sustainable.
• Build a structured transition from new-business acquisition into client onboarding and delivery.
• Bring client and market feedback back into the company to influence positioning, services, and future commercial development.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in digital media, AdTech, MarTech, advertising, agency sales, or a closely related commercial environment.
• Proven track record of generating and closing new B2B business.
• Experience building pipeline rather than only managing an inherited portfolio.
• Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.
• Experience selling to media agencies and/or direct advertisers.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• Ability to personally prospect, open relationships, pitch, negotiate, and close.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
• Confidence working directly with senior and C-level stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills.
• Experience with pipeline management, CRM, forecasting, and sales KPIs.
• Strategic thinking combined with strong hands-on execution.
• High degree of autonomy and ownership.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and testing hypotheses rather than waiting for a predefined playbook.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Strong Advantage

We would be particularly interested in candidates who:

• Have previously built a sales function, commercial channel, or market from an early stage.
• Have launched or developed a new geography or territory.
• Have experience selling digital advertising, AdTech, or media solutions.
• Have an established network of agency and/or advertiser decision-makers.
• Understand YouTube, Meta, TikTok, CTV, programmatic, contextual advertising, or the broader digital video ecosystem.
• Have experience selling internationally.
• Have worked in entrepreneurial, high-growth, or early-stage commercial environments.
• Can demonstrate not only sales leadership experience but also a strong personal track record of winning business.

Geography

We are deliberately not assigning this role to one predefined market.

One of the responsibilities of the Head of Sales will be to help determine where Universal Parallel has the strongest commercial opportunity.

We are open to exploring different international markets based on commercial potential, Universal Parallel’s capabilities, and the candidate’s existing expertise and network.

We value relevant market knowledge and relationships, but we do not expect the successful candidate to fit into a predetermined geographical sales strategy — helping us develop that strategy is part of the role.

What Success Looks Like

The primary outcome of this role is straightforward:

Universal Parallel develops a functioning direct sales channel that generates new clients and revenue independently of our existing reseller network.

Success will be measured through:

• New direct revenue generated.
• New clients won.
• Qualified pipeline created.
• Quality and scalability of identified markets and client segments.
• Pipeline coverage and conversion.
• Win rate.
• Average deal size.
• Sales cycle development.
• Forecast visibility and accuracy.
• Development of a validated direct sales strategy.
• Establishment of a repeatable sales process and commercial playbook.

First 6–12 Months

During the first stage, we expect the Head of Sales to:

• Deeply understand Universal Parallel’s business, products, services, clients, economics, and partner ecosystem.
• Analyze potential markets and commercial opportunities.
• Define and test initial ICP hypotheses.
• Explore different agencies, advertisers, verticals, and markets.
• Develop Universal Parallel’s direct sales positioning.
• Build the first structured direct pipeline.
• Personally initiate and develop strategic relationships.
• Run pitches and commercial negotiations.
• Close new direct business.
• Identify which markets, segments, propositions, and acquisition channels perform best.
• Establish CRM, forecasting, KPIs, and sales reporting.
• Create a repeatable sales playbook based on actual market validation.

From there, the role and commercial structure can evolve based on what proves successful.

This Role Is Probably Not for You If

You are primarily looking to manage an established sales team, inherit an existing client portfolio, or execute against a mature sales strategy.

There is no finished sales machine waiting for you here.

We are looking for someone who is energized by building one — combining commercial strategy with the willingness and ability to personally create pipeline and close business.

Why Universal Parallel?

This is an opportunity to build rather than inherit.

You will have significant influence over Universal Parallel’s commercial direction: which markets we enter, which clients we pursue, how we position ourselves, and how our direct sales channel develops.

You will work directly with company leadership while building relationships with agencies and leading brands across international markets.

For the right commercial leader, this is an opportunity to take ownership of a major new growth channel and shape how Universal Parallel approaches the next stage of its development.

As we continue to grow, we want to build a stronger direct new-business channel and establish our own relationships with agencies and advertisers.

We are looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager who can help us explore the market, identify where the strongest commercial opportunities are, build relationships with potential clients, and turn those relationships into real business.

About the Role

This is not a role where you will receive a fixed list of accounts and an established sales playbook to execute.

Our direct sales function is at an early stage, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape how Universal Parallel approaches new business.

You will work closely with Management to explore potential markets and client segments, identify target accounts, test different approaches, build a qualified pipeline, and develop new relationships with agencies and direct advertisers.

We are deliberately keeping the market scope broad.

Rather than assigning one predefined geography or vertical, we want to understand where Universal Parallel has the strongest opportunity to win. This could include agencies, direct advertisers, specific industries, or different international markets.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable exploring those opportunities rather than operating within a completely predefined sales structure.

Your Mission

Help Universal Parallel build a sustainable direct new-business pipeline and identify where we have the strongest opportunity to grow.

You will help us answer questions such as:

• Which markets offer the strongest commercial potential?
• Which agencies and advertisers should we be speaking to?
• Which client segments respond best to our proposition?
• Which acquisition channels generate the strongest opportunities?
• What messaging and commercial propositions resonate with potential clients?

Most importantly, you will turn this market exploration into conversations, qualified opportunities, and new business.

What You’ll Do

New Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with media agencies and direct advertisers.
• Research potential markets, companies, brands, and relevant decision-makers.
• Build and maintain structured target-account and prospect lists.
• Proactively approach potential clients through LinkedIn, email, networking, referrals, industry connections, and other relevant channels.
• Generate meetings and start commercial conversations with relevant decision-makers.
• Develop relationships with Marketing, Media, Digital, Procurement, and agency stakeholders.

Market Exploration

• Explore different markets, client segments, and verticals to identify where Universal Parallel has the strongest commercial potential.
• Test different approaches to prospecting and client acquisition.
• Gather feedback from the market and identify recurring client needs and challenges.
• Help Management understand which segments, propositions, and channels have the strongest potential to scale.
• Bring market intelligence and prospect feedback back into the business.

Lead Qualification & Discovery

• Conduct initial discovery conversations with potential clients.
• Understand their media activity, objectives, challenges, budgets, buying process, and potential needs.
• Identify where Universal Parallel’s capabilities can create value.
• Qualify opportunities based on commercial potential and fit.
• Maintain clear next steps for every active opportunity.

Pitching & Commercial Development

• Present Universal Parallel and our capabilities to potential clients.
• Adapt the commercial story to different client types and business needs.
• Work with Management and internal teams to develop relevant proposals and solutions.
• Participate in pitches, follow-ups, and commercial discussions.
• Support opportunities through the sales cycle and contribute to converting them into new business.

Pipeline & CRM Management

• Build and maintain a transparent new-business pipeline.
• Keep CRM data, prospect status, meetings, opportunities, and next steps up to date.
• Maintain disciplined follow-up across active prospects.
• Track pipeline development and conversion.
• Provide regular visibility into activity, opportunities, market feedback, and expected next steps.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Management on new-business priorities and commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with Growth Account Management, Account Management, AdOps, and other internal teams when preparing pitches and proposals.
• Ensure potential client needs are clearly communicated internally.
• Help turn Universal Parallel’s expertise, technology, campaign results, and case studies into compelling sales conversations.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, account development, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience in digital advertising, media, AdTech, MarTech, SaaS, or an agency environment is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to generate new business opportunities rather than only manage existing accounts.
• Comfortable with outbound prospecting and starting relationships from scratch.
• Strong research and prospecting skills.
• Ability to identify relevant decision-makers and navigate organizations.
• Confidence conducting discovery meetings and presenting to potential clients.
• Commercial mindset and ability to identify business opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Structured approach to pipeline management and follow-ups.
• Comfortable working with targets and measurable KPIs.
• High level of autonomy, ownership, and self-organization.
• Comfortable operating in an environment where not everything has already been defined.
• Strong English communication skills.

Strong Advantage

• Existing network within media agencies, advertisers, or the digital advertising ecosystem.
• Experience selling digital advertising, media, AdTech, or marketing technology.
• Understanding of YouTube, Meta, TikTok, programmatic advertising, CTV, or digital video.
• Experience developing new markets or territories.
• Experience selling internationally.
• Experience working in an early-stage or rapidly evolving commercial environment.

Geography

This is an international business development role.

We are not limiting the position to one predefined sales market. We are interested in exploring opportunities across international markets and will consider the candidate’s existing network, market knowledge, and experience when defining the initial focus.

How Success Will Be Measured

Success in this role will be measured through:

• Qualified new-business opportunities generated.
• Relevant client meetings created.
• Qualified pipeline value.
• New clients and revenue generated.
• Conversion of outbound activity into meaningful commercial conversations.
• Quality and consistency of pipeline management.
• Ability to identify promising markets, client segments, and acquisition approaches.
• Contribution to building a repeatable direct new-business channel for Universal Parallel.

Why Universal Parallel?

This is an opportunity to join at the stage where our direct new-business approach is still being shaped.

You will not simply execute an established sales playbook — you will have the opportunity to influence it.

You will work directly with Management, explore international opportunities, build relationships with agencies and brands, and help Universal Parallel determine where and how our direct sales channel can scale.

For someone who combines curiosity, commercial drive, and hands-on execution, this role offers significant ownership and room to grow.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who can combine strong digital media expertise with commercial thinking, financial ownership, client leadership, and operational excellence.

As Digital Director, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Digital Department — from P&L and campaign profitability to media delivery, client retention, upselling, team management, and process optimization.

Your key objective will be to ensure that client media plans are delivered effectively and in full, agreed KPIs are achieved, target margins are maintained, and existing client relationships are developed into sustainable growth opportunities.

You will work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with Account Management, Sales/Business Development, AdOps, Performance, Operations, and other internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance & P&L

• Own the P&L of the Digital Department and ensure sustainable profitability.

• Ensure full and effective utilization of client media budgets.
• Oversee the execution of client media plans across Awareness and Performance campaigns.
• Monitor key media KPIs and benchmarks, including Reach, Frequency, CPM, CPV, CPA, and other campaign-specific metrics.
• Initiate campaign adjustments, optimization, pauses, or relaunches when performance deviates from agreed benchmarks or negatively impacts profitability.
• Ensure consistent delivery quality across the entire client portfolio.

Quality Assurance & Operational Excellence

• Build and maintain a structured Quality Assurance framework for digital campaigns.
• Establish clear standards for campaign setup, execution, monitoring, optimization, and reporting.
• Conduct regular campaign and process retrospectives and translate findings into operational improvements.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and reduce manual work through process optimization and automation.
• Participate in the development and implementation of SkyFlow as the company’s unified operational system.

Client Growth & Retention

• Develop growth plans for existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Participate in strategic client meetings and complex negotiations.
• Support Account Managers in managing key enterprise accounts and resolving escalations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to high retention and satisfaction levels.
• Build structured development plans for key accounts.

• Participate in new business meetings together with the Sales/BD team.
• Contribute digital and media expertise to proposals and presales strategies.
• Review and approve strategic client proposals before presentation.
• Support the monetization and development of strategic partnerships.
• Build temporary cross-functional teams for complex pitches and new business opportunities.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Digital team across Awareness and Performance.
• Ensure effective allocation of clients and projects based on team capacity and expertise.
• Participate in hiring, performance management, team development, and organizational planning.
• Establish clear performance standards and accountability across the department.
• Foster an ownership-driven, data-driven culture focused on business and client outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, including leadership experience in roles such as Digital Director, Head of Digital, Client Service Director, Head of Account, CMO, or similar. Previous experience working in a digital or media agency environment is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
• Proven experience working with Enterprise-level brands and complex client accounts.
• Strong understanding of digital advertising across platforms such as Google Ads, YouTube, DV360, Meta, TikTok, and performance marketing channels.
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing departmental P&L, campaign profitability, budgets, and financial planning.
• Strong understanding of media planning, campaign delivery, and metrics such as Reach, Frequency, CPM, CPV, CPA, and related KPIs.
• Proven experience in strategic account management, complex negotiations, stakeholder management, client retention, and upselling.

• Strong analytical skills and experience working with management reporting, dashboards, and large datasets.
• Experience implementing automation or operational systems would be a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership skills, ownership mindset, adaptability, and ability to make decisions in a fast-changing environment.
• Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English.
• Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

What You Will Own

This is not purely a media-management role.

The Digital Director will have significant decision-making authority across campaign strategy, quality standards, team management, client allocation, operational processes, presales strategy, and crisis management.

You will have direct visibility into the financial performance of the department and the authority to initiate changes required to improve delivery, profitability, and client outcomes.

Major decisions related to senior-level hiring, pricing, strategic contracts, significant team expansion, and projects below target profitability will be made together with the CEO.

Why Join Universal Parallel

This role offers the opportunity to directly influence how the Digital Department operates and grows.

You will have ownership not only over campaign delivery, but also over financial performance, client growth, team development, operational standards, and automation — with the mandate to build a scalable digital operation capable of supporting Universal Parallel’s continued growth across multiple markets.
