RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and security
- Design, build, and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes for deploying and orchestrating microservices
- Collaborate with software development teams to streamline the CI/CD pipeline and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud resources
- Implement and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible to ensure consistent and efficient deployment across environments
- Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks, taking proactive measures to optimize and improve overall system reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, applications, and deployments in a timely manner
- Participate in the on-call rotation with the DevOps team, responding to alerts and incidents outside of regular business hours
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices related to DevOps, cloud computing, and containerization
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Resilient and flexible mindset, open to changing priorities and adapting to new challenges and technologies as the business evolves
- 3+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with hands-on experience in GCP or/ and AWS
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes, and experience managing containerized environments
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning cloud resources
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools, such as Ansible.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and their integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

Technical Background:
