Jobs at Djinni

The role

We're not hiring a copywriter who takes 30 briefs a week and returns 30 scripts. We're looking for someone who understands why content spreads and can turn that understanding into a system.

You'll co-own the content strategy with our team, write the scripts our UGC creators film, work with those creators directly, and be accountable for how the content performs.

What you'll do

• Build and evolve content strategy with the team: pillars, formats, funnel logic from TOF to BOF.
• Research what's working on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and translate it into formats we can repeat.
• Write hooks, scripts and creator briefs detailed enough to film without follow-up questions.
• Work directly with UGC creators: brief them, give feedback on drafts, raise the quality bar.
• Know our audience's pains and the product deeply, and make both visible in every video.
• Run hook and format tests, read the data (hold rate, watch time, saves, clicks) and decide what to scale.
  Strategy
• Co-own the content strategy with the team: pillars, formats, funnel logic from TOF to BOF.
• Define who we're talking to and what they struggle with, and keep that visible in every video.
• Turn product features into content angles that make people care.
• Research
• Track what's working on TikTok, Reels and Shorts in our niche every week.
• Break down viral videos and competitors' content into reusable hooks, structures and formats.
• Scripts & briefs
• Write hooks, scripts and creator briefs that can be filmed without follow-up questions.
• Build and maintain a hook library and script templates the team can reuse.
• Creators
• Brief UGC creators, review drafts and give clear, actionable feedback.
• Create reference videos and test tasks for new creators.
• Raise the quality bar across the creator network.
• Performance
• Plan and run hook and format tests.
• Analyze hold rate, watch time, saves and clicks, then decide what to scale or cut.
• Report weekly on what worked, what didn't and what we test next.
• Ownership
• Own the results of the content, not just the output.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in social media marketing, content strategy or short-form video production.
• Proven understanding of virality: you can explain why a specific video worked, not just that it did.
• Native-level feel for US short-form culture and C1+ written English. You write the way people talk on TikTok, not like a press release.
• Marketing fundamentals: ICP, positioning, funnel, messaging.
• Experience writing scripts or briefs for creators, UGC or ads.
• Comfort with metrics and testing; you make decisions from data, not taste alone.
• Ownership: you care about results, not about closing tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content yourself (you've filmed, edited or run your own account).
• Background in a SaaS, AI or creator-economy product.
• Experience managing a pool of freelancers or creators.

What we offer

• $1,500–2,000/month, depending on experience.
• Real influence on strategy from day one, not just execution.
• Work at the intersection of AI and the creator economy.
• A small team, fast decisions, direct access to founders.

Hiring process

1. Short intro call.
2. Test task: a mini content cycle for a real product (pillars, hooks, one creator brief).
3. Final interview with the team.

To apply, send your CV and one or two examples of content you wrote or strategized, with a line on why it worked.

We value developers who can think about usability, architecture, performance and maintainability - not only complete individual tasks.

When applying, please include examples of real projects where you personally worked with Vue.js / Nuxt.js, especially complex web applications, dashboards, B2B products, or products with significant business logic.

Data Science UA is a service company with deep expertise in AI and Data Science. Our story started in 2016 with the first Data Science UA Conference in Kyiv, and since then, we've built one of the largest AI communities in Europe.

About the Role:
We are looking for a HR Director to the client’s team.

We are looking for someone who has already modernised a legacy HR function in a comparable organisation — and who works at pace. We expect visible, measurable change within the first two quarters, not a twelve-month discovery exercise.

Responsibilities:
- Organisational design and workforce planning.
- Establish a unified organisational structure: levels, grading, role titles, job architecture.
- Own workforce planning together with business line leaders.
- Analyze payroll cost by function, benchmark against market and manage its share of total cost.
- Design and implement the group incentive framework, including the redesign of commercial and sales bonus schemes.
- Link variable pay to measurable outcomes and cascade targets through management levels.
- Build grading and salary bands, define the pay review policy.
- Model the financial impact of every scheme change before rollout.
- Introduce a regular performance and feedback cycle across the organisation.
- Support the rollout of the group performance management system: linking company, function and individual objectives.
- Establish accountability for end-to-end business processes, not only for functional tasks.
- Implement an HR business partner model aligned to the group's directorates.
- Design onboarding, development, internal mobility and exit processes.
- Modernise HR systems and data: HRIS, self-service, reporting.
- People analytics: attrition, cost of hire, programme effectiveness, workforce cost.
- Learning framework for both frontline and management populations.
- Leadership development for team leads, department heads and business line directors.
- Employer brand, jointly with the Head of Recruitment.

Requirements:
Must have:
- 10+ years in HR, including 4+ years leading the function in an organisation of 500+ employees.
- Demonstrable experience modernising a legacy or administrative HR function — moving it from record-keeping to a data-driven, business-facing directorate.
- Deep compensation and benefits expertise: personally designed and implemented incentive schemes, including for commercial and sales populations.
- Hands-on command of modern HR frameworks: job architecture and grading, competency models, performance cycles, workforce planning, people analytics.
- Experience implementing or replacing an HRIS and building HR reporting.
- Commercial and financial literacy: able to model payroll cost and the economics of people decisions.
- Experience leading organisational change against internal resistance
- Team leadership of 5+ HR professionals.
- Working English.

Nice to have:
- Financial services, retail network, telecom or another business with a distributed footprint and large frontline population
- Experience supporting entry into new jurisdictions
- Experience integrating or consolidating HR functions after restructuring

What the client offers:
- A genuine mandate to rebuild the function, not to maintain it
- Direct reporting line to the CEO and a seat at the management committee
- Budget and authority to build the team
- A group in a growth phase with international expansion under way

Data Science UA is a service company with deep expertise in AI and Data Science. Our story started in 2016 with the first Data Science UA Conference in Kyiv, and since then, we've built one of the largest AI communities in Europe.

About the Role and Client:
We are looking for a Head of Account Management, a leader who will build our client’s Client Relationship Development department from the ground up.
The role's task is to build systematic work with existing clients: assign personal managers to them, identify needs for other products across the group, and drive revenue growth per client.
This is a position for someone who creates the function rather than manages an existing one: the structure, segmentation, work standards, motivation system, and team all need to be defined and built independently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop the department structure: client segmentation, portfolio distribution, workload norms, service levels by segment.
- Define role profiles, form an account management team of 20+ people, and ensure their development.
- Together with HR, develop a motivation system focused on client portfolio growth.
- Describe and implement client engagement standards: contact frequency, information gathering, needs identification, CRM record-keeping.
- Be accountable for revenue from assigned client portfolios across the group's entire product line.
- Build a process for transferring clients from business units to the department: criteria, mechanics, and interaction between parties.
- Ensure growth in the number of products per client and retention of the client base.
- Personally manage key client relationships.
- Work with business units: pass identified client needs to relevant specialists, support complex multi-product deals.
- Formulate requirements for CRM and client analytics: client profile card, portfolio history, cross-sell reporting.
- Initiate the development of bundled offers together with product teams.
- Represent client interests within the company, including escalation of non-standard requests.
- Build and defend the department's plan, report on key metrics.
- Build a system for measuring the effectiveness of work with the client base.
- Prepare proposals for developing and scaling the function.

Requirements:
- 5+ years in client relationship management, client base development, or commercial functions, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Experience creating or substantially restructuring a function for working with existing clients - not just managing an already-built structure.
- Experience in a multi-product business: bank, fintech, payment services, insurance, telecom, or a large retail/service network.
- Confident command of client base development metrics: products per client, revenue per client, retention, share of wallet.
- Experience achieving results through adjacent departments without direct authority over them.
- Practical experience hiring, developing, and managing a team of 10+ people, including managing through team leads.
- Confident experience working with CRM as a business owner/requester: formulating requirements, controlling data quality, building reporting.
- English - Intermediate or above

Nice to Have:
- Experience in financial services, payments, or a segment with high-frequency client transactions.
- Experience working with a mass client base and data-driven segmentation.
- Experience developing motivation systems for commercial teams.
- Experience working at a company in a phase of rapid growth or organizational change.
- Knowledge of customer value development methodologies: CVM, customer lifecycle management.

What the client offers:
- The opportunity to build a function from scratch and define how it will work.
- A mandate to form the team and a budget for its development.
- A substantial client base with real growth potential within it.
- Direct interaction with company leadership and participation in the commercial committee.
- Competitive compensation: a fixed part plus a bonus tied to department results.
- A company with a stable market position and plans for international growth.

The role

Your primary focus is filling open roles and building a reliable candidate pipeline in Lviv. You’ll work directly with leadership to understand hiring needs, find candidates, and manage the recruiting process from outreach through offer coordination.

Build what happens behind the query.

Work on the core of a high-performance data platform — query planning, optimization, distributed execution and performance at scale.

About Our Client

Our client is a leading enterprise data platform company building an open, high-performance data lakehouse for AI and analytical workloads. The platform combines an intelligent SQL query engine, an AI-ready semantic layer, and an open catalog built on Apache Iceberg — enabling Fortune 500 companies across finance, energy, manufacturing, and logistics to unify, query, and govern data at massive scale across cloud and on-premise sources.

About the Role

We are looking for a Middle-level Software Engineer to work on the core query engine of a large-scale distributed data platform. You will develop features across query planning, optimization, and execution, contribute to performance-critical components, and help investigate and fix production issues reported by real enterprise customers.

This is a systems-level, backend engineering role focused on distributed data processing internals — not application development or CRUD services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across the query engine — planning, optimization, execution, and data access layers
• Write performance-conscious code in Java and/or C++
• Investigate and fix production and customer-reported issues under the guidance of senior engineers, including fixes delivered across multiple supported release lines
• Work with SQL semantics, query plans, and execution operators over large-scale distributed data
• Integrate with columnar formats, open table formats, and connectivity drivers
• Contribute to CI/CD and automated testing in Jenkins
• Deploy and validate changes on Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS) across GCP, AWS, or Azure with Docker

• Debug issues across query planning, distributed execution, memory management, and I/O; collaborate with US-based teams on design and code reviews

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years in backend / systems software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Java or C++ with solid OOP and software design fundamentals, including concurrency and asynchronous programming (comfort with both languages is especially valued)
• Strong SQL and understanding of relational and analytical data systems, including query execution concepts
• Hands-on experience with data processing systems: query engines, distributed databases, ETL/ELT, or analytical platforms
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines and modern development workflows
• Docker and basic Kubernetes (running workloads, debugging pods, kubectl fluency)
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Confident Git/GitHub workflows
• Comfortable with AI-assisted development workflows — using modern AI tools for code comprehension, debugging, and test generation, and critically validating their output
• English Upper-Intermediate or higher (B2+) — daily written and verbal communication with a US-based engineering team

• Availability to work EU business hours shifted 2–3 hours later for daily overlap with US West Coast mornings

Desired Skills

• Apache Arrow (columnar in-memory format) and SQL planner/optimizer frameworks such as Apache Calcite
• LLVM-based runtime expression compilation
• Open table formats — Apache Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Hudi — and columnar file formats such as Parquet, Avro, or ORC
• MPP query engines (Presto, Trino, or similar); exposure to distributed data platforms such as Spark, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Messaging systems: Kafka, NATS, or cloud pub/sub services
• Query planning, optimization, and execution internals
• Connectivity drivers: JDBC, ODBC, Arrow Flight
• Managed Kubernetes (GKE/EKS/AKS), multi-cloud exposure; Terraform
• Performance profiling of latency-sensitive systems

Details

• Engagement: Long-term contract
• Location: Europe (EU / EEA / UK), remote
• Working hours: EU business hours, shifted 2–3 hours later for daily overlap with the US West Coast team

• Understanding of SRE concepts such as monitoring, alerting, availability, and incident response.

What We Expect

We do not expect a Junior engineer to know everything.

The important things are strong fundamentals, willingness to learn, and the ability to investigate problems instead of only following predefined instructions.

The engineer will work together with more experienced team members and gradually take more responsibility for CI/CD, Kubernetes, monitoring, and production infrastructure.

About the Role

We're looking for a curious and motivated Junior Python Engineer to join our team. You'll be building backend services, REST APIs, and data-processing pipelines, with some exposure to cloud infrastructure along the way.

We work in pairs — juniors are always paired with someone at a similar or slightly higher level, not just for code reviews, but for day-to-day coding, architecture decisions, and problem solving. This is production work: you'll ship backend services that customers rely on, with the safety net of another teammate beside you.

The client is US-based, so the team works US business hours; for engineers in Ukraine, this means your working day ends around midnight Kyiv time. This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability.

What You'll Work On

• Backend Services & APIs — build and maintain REST APIs and backend services for client platforms.
• Document Processing — build pipelines for validation, extraction, and status tracking.
• AWS Integrations — work with AWS infrastructure managed through Terraform.
• Internal Tooling — build workflow automation and internal tools.

Tech Stack

• Backend — Python (our main language), a web framework (most of our services run on one), SQL or a NoSQL store for reading and writing data.
• Cloud — AWS (Lambda, S3, IAM) and Terraform — both nice-to-haves, you'll pick up what you need on the job.

Working Hours & Format

This role can be full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. It's remote, with occasional face-to-face working sessions. Our client operates on US business hours, so the schedule needs to align with US time zones — for engineers based in Ukraine, your working day will end around midnight Kyiv time.

Requirements

Solid fundamentals in Python, familiarity with a web framework, and a basic understanding of REST APIs.

Exposure to AWS or Terraform is a plus, but not required — you'll pick up what you need on the job. We care more about your curiosity and attitude than your CV.

Receptor.AI is a TechBio company developing AI-driven drug discovery platforms across small molecules, peptides, biologics, and induced proximity. We work through different business models, including platform access, collaborative drug discovery programs, and strategic partnerships.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities around our technologies and partnerships. The role covers the full process from lead generation and qualification to customer discussions, follow-up, and proposal support.

Key Responsibilities

• Research target companies, programs, and relevant decision-makers.
• Generate and qualify new leads through outbound outreach, conferences, referrals, and inbound interest.
• Build relationships with potential customers and partners and run introductory business discussions.
• Understand the customer's project, needs, and decision process, and identify the most relevant Receptor.AI platform or collaboration model.
• Coordinate technical discussions with scientific and product teams.
• Prepare follow-ups and support the development of project scopes, proposals, and partnership discussions.
• Move opportunities through the sales pipeline and keep CRM records, next steps, and customer information up to date.
• Support conference preparation, meetings, and post-conference follow-up.
• Share customer and market feedback with the team to improve outreach and commercial positioning.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 1+ year of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or another customer-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Computational Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Good understanding of fundamental drug discovery concepts.
• Ability to understand scientific information and communicate it clearly to customers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Organized, proactive, and attentive to detail
• Comfortable working across scientific, commercial, and operational teams.
• English proficiency B2.

Nice to Have

• Experience in biotech, pharma, or scientific software.
• Interest or experience in AI applications in drug discovery.
• Experience with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
