The role

We're not hiring a copywriter who takes 30 briefs a week and returns 30 scripts. We're looking for someone who understands why content spreads and can turn that understanding into a system.

You'll co-own the content strategy with our team, write the scripts our UGC creators film, work with those creators directly, and be accountable for how the content performs.

What you'll do

• Build and evolve content strategy with the team: pillars, formats, funnel logic from TOF to BOF.
• Research what's working on TikTok, Reels and Shorts, and translate it into formats we can repeat.
• Write hooks, scripts and creator briefs detailed enough to film without follow-up questions.
• Work directly with UGC creators: brief them, give feedback on drafts, raise the quality bar.
• Know our audience's pains and the product deeply, and make both visible in every video.
• Run hook and format tests, read the data (hold rate, watch time, saves, clicks) and decide what to scale.
  Strategy
• Co-own the content strategy with the team: pillars, formats, funnel logic from TOF to BOF.
• Define who we're talking to and what they struggle with, and keep that visible in every video.
• Turn product features into content angles that make people care.
• Research
• Track what's working on TikTok, Reels and Shorts in our niche every week.
• Break down viral videos and competitors' content into reusable hooks, structures and formats.
• Scripts & briefs
• Write hooks, scripts and creator briefs that can be filmed without follow-up questions.
• Build and maintain a hook library and script templates the team can reuse.
• Creators
• Brief UGC creators, review drafts and give clear, actionable feedback.
• Create reference videos and test tasks for new creators.
• Raise the quality bar across the creator network.
• Performance
• Plan and run hook and format tests.
• Analyze hold rate, watch time, saves and clicks, then decide what to scale or cut.
• Report weekly on what worked, what didn't and what we test next.
• Ownership
• Own the results of the content, not just the output.

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in social media marketing, content strategy or short-form video production.
• Proven understanding of virality: you can explain why a specific video worked, not just that it did.
• Native-level feel for US short-form culture and C1+ written English. You write the way people talk on TikTok, not like a press release.
• Marketing fundamentals: ICP, positioning, funnel, messaging.
• Experience writing scripts or briefs for creators, UGC or ads.
• Comfort with metrics and testing; you make decisions from data, not taste alone.
• Ownership: you care about results, not about closing tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content yourself (you've filmed, edited or run your own account).
• Background in a SaaS, AI or creator-economy product.
• Experience managing a pool of freelancers or creators.

What we offer

• $1,500–2,000/month, depending on experience.
• Real influence on strategy from day one, not just execution.
• Work at the intersection of AI and the creator economy.
• A small team, fast decisions, direct access to founders.

Hiring process

1. Short intro call.
2. Test task: a mini content cycle for a real product (pillars, hooks, one creator brief).
3. Final interview with the team.

To apply, send your CV and one or two examples of content you wrote or strategized, with a line on why it worked.
