We are seeking an experienced Remote Independent Hardware Engineer to take end‑to‑end technical ownership of hardware designs.

This role is intended for a senior engineer who operates with a high level of autonomy, accountability, and engineering discipline, and who delivers results based on technical milestones.

The engineer will be responsible for the complete hardware lifecycle, including schematic design, component selection, bring‑up, validation, failure analysis, and sustaining engineering.
 

The role requires independent decision‑making, early identification and communication of technical risks, and close collaboration with remote hardware, software, FPGA, systems, and manufacturing teams.

Hardware bring‑up and validation activities will be performed in a hybrid model: part of the bring‑up will be conducted locally by the engineer using available equipment,

and part will be executed in remote or centralized laboratories, working in coordination with local hands‑on operators and engineers.
The engineer is responsible for defining structured bring‑up plans, test procedures, and debug strategies, and for analyzing and documenting results across both local and remote environments.
 

The engineer is expected to present and defend the hardware design in formal design reviews and surveys throughout the project, including schematic reviews, milestone reviews, and readiness reviews.

Clear presentation of design decisions, risks, trade‑offs, and validation status is a core responsibility of the role.

The position includes the ability to write basic microcontroller firmware (C/C++) to support hardware bring‑up and validation, such as GPIO control, peripheral configuration (I²C, SPI, UART, ADC, timers), and interface verification.
 

In addition, the engineer should have familiarity with FPGA‑based systems, including understanding common architectures,

reading existing HDL code (VHDL/Verilog) and performing basic debug or minor updates in support of hardware bring‑up and system integration.

Full ownership of embedded software or FPGA development is not required.

We are looking for a creative, sharp, and trend-savvy Video Content Creator (Short-form) — specifically a Ukrainian specialist working remotely from anywhere in the world — to help us conquer US social media (TikTok, Instagram, and X/Twitter).
What You’ll Do:

End-to-End Video Production: Ideate, script, edit, and publish high-engaging short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) tailored to US truck drivers.
Trend Hooking: Monitor US social media trends, memes, and viral formats, adapting them to the trucking niche.
Visual Magic: Create catchy animations, kinetic typography, and engaging visuals to make our value prop pop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize the performance of the C++ data-streaming backend — efficient delivery of large recorded datasets to the browser
• Work on infrastructure-level optimizations: traffic routing to Kubernetes pods, hash-based routing, SSD-based caching, and memory-mapped files
• Operate within a custom data-handling stack — a C++ framework, a custom HTTP server, and a proprietary data format built on top of LevelDB SSTables and Protobuf
• Take ownership of performance work end-to-end, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving solutions independently
• Collaborate with a primarily US-based team with ~1–2 hours of daily overlap, while working largely independently
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions

About the Project:

You'll join the engineering team of a leading technology company building autonomous mobility and robotics systems. The team develops an internal data visualization platform — a "video and data player" that renders 3D scenes, lidar, and audio recorded by autonomous vehicles. This role sits on the performance work stream: the backend reads on-vehicle data stored in S3, deserializes it from a custom, time-keyed format, and streams it to the browser. The data-transfer service is implemented in C++, and most of the platform's performance gains are expected to come from the backend.

This is a long-term engagement for a strong systems engineer who enjoys low-level performance work and is comfortable ramping on a heavily custom stack with high ownership and minimal supervision.
