The Role

 Your Responsibilities   

 1. Risk Management & Governance

• Design, implement, and oversee Paythex's Risk Management Framework in collaboration with the CRO.
• Conduct periodic enterprise risk assessments covering operational, financial, legal, and compliance dimensions.
• Develop internal governance and escalation protocols for emerging risks and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with international financial standards, VASP obligations, and PSP regulations.

2. Fraud Prevention & Chargeback Management

• Build and maintain advanced fraud detection rules in anti-fraud systems.
• Manage chargeback alerts (Ethoca, Verifi, etc.) and representation flows with precision.
• Oversee fraud trend analysis and risk scoring logic to proactively minimize exposure.
• Collaborate with Data and BI teams to enhance automated alerting, scoring models, and dashboards.

3. Mastercard & Visa Compliance

• Ensure full adherence to Mastercard and Visa Compliance policies.
• Track and report on Fraud-to-Sales and Chargeback-to-Sales ratios to prevent merchant monitoring program violations.
• Prepare and submit remediation plans if thresholds are exceeded and manage communications with acquirers or card scheme representatives.
• Collaborate with PSPs and banks to maintain brand reputation compliance, transaction integrity, and descriptor accuracy.
• Stay current with updates to Mastercard and Visa risk programs — proactively adjusting risk rules and merchant configurations. 

4. Payment Optimization

• Monitor PSP and acquirer performance globally and adjust routing logic to improve approval rates.
• Collaborate with Finance and Tech teams to reconcile transactional data and verify processing accuracy.
• Test and integrate new payment methods to expand the company's market coverage. 

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Hire, mentor, and lead a team of risk and chargeback analysts.
• Define KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing professional training. 
• Foster a high-performance, data-driven culture that emphasizes accountability and growth. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Support to maintain a unified risk strategy.

6. Reporting & Analytics

• Develop real-time dashboards with the BI team to visualize approval ratios, alerts, chargebacks, and exposure.
• Provide regular strategic reports to management outlining key risks, financial impacts, and mitigation progress.
• Identify patterns and anomalies across PSPs, brands, and affiliates, translating data into actionable strategies.

Qualification Requirements

• 3+ years  in risk management, fraud prevention, or payments analytics (Fintech experience preferred).
• Proven expertise in managing multi-PSP / multi-MID  infrastructures and chargeback processes.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills — proficiency in Excel, Power BI tools.
• Familiarity with alert systems (Ethoca, Verifi)  and acquirer monitoring tools.
• Experience working with international PSPs and card schemes  (Visa, Mastercard, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with banks, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

Job responsibilities

• Мінімум 5 років досвіду роботи на посаді спеціалізованого інженера з даних
• Досвід роботи з великими структурованими та неструктурованими даними в різних форматах

We are looking for a Data Architect who will participate in the formation and development of Data Governance across the entire Bank. The main goal is to design and implement a comprehensive data architecture for the bank that ensures data quality, accessibility, security, and traceability (lineage) to support the Data Governance strategy, which ensures data consistency, business decision support, regulatory compliance, and maximization of data value as a strategic asset

Your future responsibilities:

• Designing target architecture: developing data models and requirements for their description
• Building data flow maps from source systems to reporting to ensure complete transparency of data origin
• Performing data profiling and analysis of the source system
• Formulating clear conclusions to support the end use of data
• Use metadata repositories to perform data and system integration impact analysis
• Participate in defining data exchange principles (ETL/ELT, Kafka, REST API) with a focus on data integrity
• Participate in the implementation of Data Quality Management (DQM): rules, monitoring, control
• Participate in the implementation of Data Governance controls in business processes and systems
• Identify data-related risks, develop and monitor a minimization plan
• Implement KPIs and OKRs for the Data Governance program
• Communicate results to key stakeholders

Your skills and experience:

• 3+ years of experience in banking or finance
• Expertise in data modeling techniques
• Strategic thinking and architectural approach
• Deep understanding of Data Governance Frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM)
• Expertise in Data Quality, Master Data, Metadata, Data Security
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to identify and solve complex data management issues
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements (BCBS 239, GDPR)
• Communication skills: ability to translate complex data concepts into business-friendly language

Cowchain have successfully completed 150+ projects mainly on EVM-based blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base including Coinmarketcap leaders with 180M+ total capitalization and 20M+ daily trading volume in Move2Earn, Play2Earn and DeFi industries.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Development

• Focus on building integrations with 3rd-party providers
• Ensure compliance and tech alignment between internal team and external providers
• Collaborate with backend team on event-driven architectures (Kafka, NestJS microservices).
• Build and maintain APIs using Java and Node.js

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience, focusing on scalable systems.

Role Overview

As Backend Engineer, you will own the development, support and optimization of the back-end services with the wider product ecosystem. 

You’ll maintain our production back-end services, ensuring all the issues are being monitored and fixed as well as architect new extended functionality and improve existing services.

What You’ll Do

• Learn how to gather and document requirements from global enterprise clients.

• Assist in checking the accuracy and quality of collected web data.

• Perform basic functional and exploratory testing of web crawlers (you’ll get full guidance and mentorship).
