Our client is MilTech startup building an on-premises platform for automated annotation of UAV video and training computer vision models for autonomous flight.

The Role

We are looking for a Lead Computer Vision / Machine Learning Engineer to join as a founding member of the engineering team.

This role is highly hands-on and strategic. You will define the ML architecture, select the tools and frameworks, and build the machine learning pipeline from the ground up. As the platform grows, you will also build and lead a team of ML engineers.

While the high-level technical direction is defined — including petabyte-scale video processing, active learning pipelines, and edge deployment on NVIDIA Jetson devices — the implementation details will be driven by your expertise and technical judgement.

Responsibilities ML Architecture & Technical Direction

• Design and implement the end-to-end ML pipeline, from raw video ingestion to model deployment on UAV hardware

At Lendurai, we enable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to operate independently of global navigation satellite systems and radio control, using computer vision and machine learning. • Designing and training neural networks for real-time inference on embedded GPUs/NPUs, as well as specialized SOMs and NN accelerators
• Collaborating across the full drone software stack — perception, control, planning, simulation

You also might learn to fly drones: although we have a team of skilled pilots, hands-on testing can be useful for making sure your code is properly integrated.

We are looking for 

Required skills:

• Strong C/C++ and Python programming skills
• Theoretical and applied knowledge of computer vision algorithms
• Strong grounding in deep learning architectures and applications

• Track record of designing complex systems that operate outside the lab

Шукаємо сильного інженерного лідера, який зможе керувати кількома продуктовими напрямками (апаратно-програмні системи), формувати стандарти розробки та забезпечувати доведення продуктів від ідеї до серійного виробництва.

Ключові задачі:

• Керування кількома продуктовими напрямками через технічних лідів команд
• Прийняття та валідація ключових архітектурних рішень
