Level: Senior (individual contributor)·

Focus: Full-stack hardware + flight stack integration (ArduPilot / Betaflight)

Location: On-site (lab / hangar)

About the role

We're looking for an experienced hardware engineer to own end-to-end flight-control hardware integration across a diverse fleet of drones — from FPV quads to larger autonomous multirotor, fixed-wing, and VTOL platforms. You'll be the person who takes a new airframe from a pile of components to a tuned, flight-ready system: selecting and wiring the flight controller, flashing and configuring ArduPilot or Betaflight, integrating ESCs, sensors, radios, power, and payloads, and tuning it until it flies cleanly.

This is a hands-on, on-site role based in our lab/hangar, spanning the full range from quick R&D prototypes to repeatable production builds. You'll be the hardware integration expert for the team, working independently and setting the standard for how builds are configured, documented, and validated. Success looks like new platforms reaching reliable, flight-ready status quickly — and builds that stay consistent and reproducible from one unit to the next.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end hardware integration of flight-control systems across multiple platform types (multirotor, fixed-wing, VTOL, FPV).
• Select, flash, configure, and tune ArduPilot (Copter / Plane / Rover) and Betaflight; build and maintain custom firmware targets and board definitions where needed.
• Integrate and validate flight controllers, ESCs, and motors — including protocol setup (DShot / bidirectional DShot, PWM / OneShot), motor–prop matching, and thrust testing.
• Bring up and calibrate full sensor suites: IMUs, barometers, compasses/magnetometers, GPS/RTK, rangefinders, optical flow, and airspeed sensors.
• Integrate RC and telemetry links (ExpressLRS, TBS Crossfire, CRSF / SBUS, MAVLink, SiK radios) and FPV/video systems (analog and digital VTX, OSD, cameras, antennas).
• Spec, assemble, and wire power systems — distribution, regulation, current/voltage sensing, and battery selection — with clean, reliable harnesses.
• Integrate smart peripherals over CAN / DroneCAN and companion computers (Raspberry Pi / Jetson) over MAVLink.
• Diagnose vibration, noise, and EMI issues and implement fixes (soft-mounting, gyro/notch filtering, grounding, shielding).
• Run bench, ground, and flight tests; analyze logs (Mission Planner / MAVExplorer, Betaflight Blackbox) and iterate on PID and filter tuning.
• Root-cause failures and design for reliability — diagnose in-flight and bench anomalies, build in redundancy where it matters, and harden platforms to hold up in real-world field conditions.
• Take platforms from quick R&D prototypes through to repeatable, well-documented production builds — locking in configurations and processes that stay consistent across units.
• Document build configurations, wiring, and setup procedures, and support/upskill the team so they can operate and iterate independently.

• Work closely with the software, mechanical, and flight-test teams to integrate cleanly and resolve hardware–software issues together.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience integrating and configuring ArduPilot and/or Betaflight on real hardware.
• Strong working knowledge of drone subsystems: flight controllers, ESCs, motors, sensors, RC links, power, and FPV.
• Comfortable with soldering, wiring, and general benchtop debugging (multimeter, bench power supply).
• Solid grasp of the relevant protocols: DShot, CRSF / SBUS, MAVLink, I2C / SPI / UART, and ideally CAN / DroneCAN.
• Experience tuning multirotor and/or fixed-wing platforms and reading flight logs to track down problems.
• Able to work independently and own a hardware domain from first component to flight-ready system.
• Comfortable switching between fast prototype iteration and the repeatability that production builds demand.
• Typically 4+ years in drone/UAV hardware, robotics, or embedded systems.

• Degree in electrical, aerospace, mechatronics, or robotics engineering — or equivalent hands-on experience.

Nice to have

• Writing custom ArduPilot board definitions (hwdef) or Betaflight targets, and compiling firmware from source.
• Familiarity with PCB design (KiCad / Altium) is a welcome bonus — but we treat full board design as a separate specialty, so it's not expected for this role.
• RTK GPS and precision navigation, lidar, or computer-vision payload integration.
• Breadth across airframe types — VTOL, large industrial, or agricultural platforms.
• Familiarity with the drone and aviation regulations that apply in the role's region.
• Comfortable with 3D printing and rapid prototyping for custom mounts, frames, and fixtures.

Tools & technologies you'll work with

• Firmware / stacks: ArduPilot, Betaflight
• Flight controllers: Pixhawk / Cube, Holybro, Matek, SpeedyBee, Kakute (STM32 F4 / F7 / H7)
• Ground stations: Mission Planner, QGroundControl, Betaflight Configurator
• Protocols: MAVLink, DShot, CRSF, SBUS, DroneCAN / CAN, I2C / SPI / UART
• RC / telemetry: ExpressLRS, TBS Crossfire, SiK radios
• ESC firmware: common ESC firmware and configuration tools
• Bench: Soldering station, multimeter, bench power supply

What we offer

• Competitive salary, set to experience
• A fully equipped lab and a budget for the gear, tools, and parts you need
• Health coverage, paid time off, and the standard benefits
• Room to grow your skills and shape how the team builds

Full compensation details are shared early in the process.

About us: Farsight Vision converts flight footage into digital 2D and 3D twins for real-time intelligence in GNSS-denied environment, making analytics and situational awareness convenient and accessible while saving time and effort. We create multi-layered digital twins of terrain with dynamic tracking and object/landscape monitoring and predicting. We are looking for a Customer Support Manager who treats customer success as a personal responsibility. This role is for someone who genuinely cares about users, takes ownership of problems end-to-end, and consistently gets things done. You will work closely with clients, product, and internal teams to ensure our platform delivers real value in critical use cases. This is not a ticket-processing role - it’s about understanding context, anticipating issues, and proactively helping customers succeed.

Requirements:
- 2+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Client Relations (flexible for less, if you have real cases and strong motivation to make up for it).
- Solid understanding of the B2B sales and client-success cycle: lead, demo, contract, onboarding, renewal.
-Strong written and verbal communication – able to explain complex things simply and, just as important, able to listen.
- Proactive by default: you see what needs to happen and do it, without being told twice.
- Able to run multiple accounts and competing priorities at once without letting quality slip.
- Willing to travel across Ukraine and work outside standard hours when the situation calls for it – if motivation to support the Defense Forces is real, it shows up here, not just in the interview.
- Basic working experience with CRM tools, commercial proposals, and contracts.

Responsibilities:
- Own the full client lifecycle for assigned units: inbound request → product demo → contract signed → onboarding → active use → expanded use → license renewal.
- Visit assigned units in the field one to two times a month, building direct relationships with the people who actually use the product, not just the people who signed for it.
- Own account health end-to-end – track engagement, catch risk signals early, and escalate before a renewal is in danger, not after.
- Draft commercial proposals and contracts, and keep account documentation current in the CRM.
- Run onboarding for new units and train users hands-on until the product is actually part of how they work.
- Тurn field feedback into structured input for product and R&D – conclusions, not raw complaints, so the same lesson doesn't get relearned from scratch every quarter. * Represent Farsight Vision at defense-tech events and industry gatherings.

Would be a plus:
- Experience with technical or complex B2B products
- Experience in defense/miltech
- Understanding of the structure of Ukraine's Defense Forces, or prior experience working with military units or volunteer organizations
- Experience with defense-tech procurement, export controls, or military testing/certification processes
-  English is not a hard requirement for this role, though comfort reading internal materials in English is a plus

 Working terms
Security Eligibility:
Our products are actively used by the Armed Forces in live operations. As an Estonian-Ukrainian defence technology company handling sensitive operational data, we have a responsibility – legal, ethical, and practical – to ensure the integrity of everyone on our team.

All candidates must be able to confirm the following:
-  Neither you nor your close relatives (parents, spouse, siblings, children) reside in Russia, Belarus, or temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories
- You have no regular personal, financial, business, or professional contact with individuals in those territories
- You consent to a deeper security verification if the process advances to later stages If any of the above criteria are not met, please do not proceed with your application

Application Process:
 1. Apply with your CV and a brief cover letter explaining your interest and relevant experience.
2. Walk us through how you would handle a unit that went silent three weeks into onboarding – what would you check, who would you call?
3. Interview with the Head of Account Management&Customer Support and relevant stakeholders.

• Docker for reproducible build environments

• Power management and thermal constraints on airborne platforms

• Experience with restricted or air-gapped development environments

YOUR TASKS MAY INCLUDE

• Designing and maintaining the Raspberry Pi OS images our navigation software runs on — minimal, reproducible, versioned

• Building and operating the secure boot and provisioning chain: signing keys, OTP key programming, encrypted rootfs, factory provisioning stations

• Automating image build, signing and flashing in CI, so a release is an artifact rather than a manual procedure

• Bringing up new hardware revisions and peripherals together with the hardware team

• Implementing and testing a safe field update mechanism, including rollback

About Osavul

Osavul is a product company building an AI-driven intelligence platform that helps governments, international organisations, enterprises and NGOs detect and counter hybrid threats. We're a fast-growing team on a mission that matters.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior ML Engineer to join our engineering team and help develop the AI capabilities behind our intelligence products, with a particular focus on NLP, information extraction, and knowledge graphs.

Our platform processes large volumes of data from multiple sources, including text, social media, imagery, and geospatial data. One of our key challenges is identifying entities and relationships across these sources and connecting relevant information so analysts can understand how actors, events and narratives relate across sources, locations, and time.

In this role, you'll work with traditional ML/NLP approaches and modern language models, contribute to the development of our knowledge graph architecture, and integrate models into production data pipelines. You'll be involved in technical decisions, from selecting and evaluating models to getting them into production.

We're looking for someone with a solid ML background who is equally comfortable writing production code. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building and maintaining production systems, not a research role.

What matters most: production ML/NLP experience, hands-on information extraction, and experience designing and building knowledge graphs.

Requirements

Engineering Skills

• Strong Python skills and proven experience developing and maintaining AI/ML services in production.
• Experience with FastAPI, Docker, and asynchronous programming.
• Good understanding of databases, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and vector databases.
• Experience integrating ML models into distributed data pipelines using tools such as Celery, RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Solid software engineering practices, including writing maintainable code, testing, debugging, and supporting production systems.

AI Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in ML/NLP engineering, including deploying models to production and supporting them after release.
• Practical experience with information extraction from unstructured data, including entity extraction, relation extraction, entity resolution, or entity linking.
• Experience designing and building knowledge graphs, including ontology and graph schema design, and working with graph databases such as Neo4j. Experience with GraphRAG is also relevant.
• Good understanding of traditional NLP approaches, transformer architectures, and the application of language models to information extraction tasks.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Experience evaluating ML/NLP models and measuring their performance.
• Upper-intermediate (B2) English or higher.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning and/or self-hosted deployment of open models, including approaches such as LoRA/PEFT and SFT, model serving with vLLM or similar tools, and inference optimisation techniques such as quantisation.
• Experience with multimodal models, computer vision, or geospatial data, including satellite imagery and remote sensing.
• Background in threat intelligence, OSINT, geospatial intelligence, or defence.

We Offer

• Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven product used by governments, international organisations, enterprises and NGOs to tackle global security challenges.
• Real ownership in shaping our knowledge graph direction, and the freedom to drive experiments and bring your ideas to production.
• Remote-first: work from Ukraine or anywhere in Europe.
• Unlimited paid time off, plus company-wide holidays.
• Software and AI tools you need for your work are covered.
• Annual budget for conferences, courses and professional development.
