Intern Data Scientist Offline

Primary requirements:

- are analytical, critical, highly logical, and structured in your thinking

- have the diagnostic skills to approach and resolve problems by identifying and weighing trade-offs

- hold a high degree of personal responsibility and ownership in everything you do

- have an interest in learning about financial markets, tax, and auditing data and data tools / programming languages (Python, R, and SQL) preferably using Jetbrains products

- are able to consistently step back and improve your way of thinking and operating

- desire to solve complex open-ended research questions

- interest for and demonstrated understanding of global politics and economic policy

- bachelor in Computational Physics, Mathematics, Computational Biology/Chemistry, or Data Science. Ph.D. degree is a merit

- having an interest in (or experience with) finance, economics, or accounting would be preferable

- good english communication skills

Responsibilities:

- understanding sets of company (bankruptcy, sales, number of employees, firmographic, hiring info) "data concepts" from the real world to answer “what are we trying to represent” and the technical “logic behind this data aggregation”

- dynamically engaging with new data flows from the real world as they feed into our systematized bzmodel engine.

- validating the accuracy and representing those "data concepts"

- over time, evolving those concepts, by improving our logic or technical definitions, to raise the level of accuracy and timeliness of the things you own, contributing directly to improvements to our business logic incorporating fast and slow event processing

- collaborating with compaty partners in the content supply chain (vendors, technology and operations) to address quality issues

- partnering with our teams who research economic and investment concepts to understand their views and how they connect to or are derived from your data concepts

- willing to build the trading models using price, fundamental and alternative data to understand the concept behind the hedge fund usage based on the impact of the global policies on economic factors

- continuously think of new ways to provide value to CRO/Company by leveraging an excellent understanding of the series of the events
