SQL engineer (offline)

SQL engineer (preferably with another language like python):

o Project to accelerate our move over to Google BigQuery

o Data pipelines using cloud tools like spinnaker, liquibase in docker containers, git, and a binary repo which may be artifactory or Googles equivalent as a service

o ETL and orchestration would be combination of airflow (python based) doing the orchestration and scheduling and SQL in DB2, BigQuery and other GCP relational databases

o Data landed in the cloud as Kafka topics

o Visualisation would be via Tableau or IBM Cognos

Technical requirements:

experience as a SQL developer;
experience with databases - designing SQL schema, query optimization;
Knowledge of ETL processes;
Good knowledge of some programming language will be a plus (preferably python);
Experience using Git;
Spoken English
