Data Engineer & Analyst Offline

In this role, you will maintain and improve our existing data warehouse, and work closely with multiple business stakeholders (Business, Product, Marketing, Customer Success) to extract insights that drive the business forward.

Required skills:

SQL expert knowledge

2+ years managing cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery)

Experience creating ETL/ETL jobs (e.g. dbt, StitchData, Alooma, talend, etc)

Prior experience with web BI reporting tools (Mode, Looker or Periscope)

Experience working closely with business stakeholders to produce BI reports

Fluent English

As a plus:

Some experience with Python or R

Familiarity with subscription software/SaaS reporting and modeling needs

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to answer ad hoc questions with data

Define and execute on data discovery projects with business team

Identify opportunities to improve data coverage and literacy across the organization

Own day-to-day management of data warehouse (Snowflake)

Connect and maintain new data sources into warehouse as needed

Monitor ETL/ELT pipeline performance (Alooma)

Address any data or pipeline issues as they may arise

Produce and maintain reports in BI tool (Mode Analytics)

Create and maintain new data transformations, tables, views, as needed
