Our platform connects merchants with multiple lending programs through a unified financing experience, handling application workflows, lender integrations, offer presentation, digital agreements, and transaction management.
 

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Product Owner to take ownership of product execution and delivery while contributing to business analysis and helping modernize our development processes through AI.
 

About the Role
 

You will work directly with company leadership and lead product execution for a dedicated technical team.
 

This is not simply a backlog management or project coordination position. We need someone who understands complex software products, can independently translate business objectives into actionable technical requirements, and takes accountability for delivering high-quality functionality.
 

The ideal candidate combines strong Product Ownership, Business Analysis, technical understanding, and practical experience implementing AI-powered workflows to improve team productivity.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, roadmap execution, and feature delivery.
• Translate business objectives into clearly defined development initiatives.
• Coordinate development, QA, design, and business analysis activities.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery coordination.
• Proactively identify blockers, dependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure features are delivered on time, meet requirements, and achieve expected business outcomes.
   

Business Analysis & Requirements

• Collaborate with the existing BA to define and document detailed functional requirements.
• Assist with prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
• Analyze complex business workflows, third-party integrations, and API-driven functionality when needed.
• Identify edge cases, business rules, and potential issues before development begins.
• Work closely with developers and QA to ensure shared understanding of requirements.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and organized product documentation.
   

AI-Driven Process Improvement

We are particularly interested in candidates who actively use AI to improve software development and product management processes.
 

Responsibilities include:

• Implement and optimize AI-assisted workflows for requirement gathering, documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate business analysis, technical research, and solution planning.
• Explore AI agents and automation opportunities within Jira, QA, development coordination, and release management.
• Identify repetitive activities that can be automated to reduce administrative overhead and improve team productivity.
• Establish practical AI workflows that improve delivery speed, consistency, and quality while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
   

Requirements
 

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis, including substantial hands-on product ownership.
• Previous professional experience in fintech, consumer lending, banking, payments, or financial software.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex software platforms and API integrations.
• Strong Business Analysis capabilities, including detailed requirements, workflow mapping, and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to independently manage product backlogs and coordinate development through release.
• Strong understanding of Agile development processes, Jira, and modern software delivery practices.
• Practical, hands-on experience with AI tools and automation in product management or software development workflows.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong spoken and written English, with the ability to collaborate directly with U.S.-based leadership.
