About the Company

BIB Credit is an online lending brand we are launching in South Africa.

Our project is backed by a fintech team with over 10 years of experience in online lending. We are building a microfinance business in the South African market and establishing our Collections Department from the ground up.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Collections Supervisor to oversee daily operations, monitor team performance, maintain discipline, and ensure the smooth operation of communication channels and collection processes.
 

About the Role

As a Collections Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational control of collection agents, monitoring communications, ensuring compliance with internal standards, and resolving operational issues in real time.

You will work closely with collection agents, monitor their activities online, and ensure that communication channels and dialer systems operate efficiently.
 

Responsibilities

• Register and maintain agents' work schedules in the CRM system.
• Monitor agents' performance in real time by providing live operational support (“second-chair” assistance).
• Ensure team discipline and compliance with established performance standards.
• Configure and prepare audio prompts and recordings for automated communications and dialer systems.
• Monitor missed interactions and take action to recover lost traffic and missed opportunities.
• Develop communication strategies for existing and potential customers.
• Verify that automated and system-generated messages are sent correctly.
• Block unwanted or inappropriate communications.
• Monitor incoming communication channels and update them when necessary.
• Ensure that agents' communication channels remain operational and resolve issues promptly.
   

Requirements

Must-have:

• At least 1 year of experience in collections or debt recovery.
• Experience working with CRM systems, dialers, and messaging platforms such as Telegram, Viber, and WhatsApp.
• Experience monitoring team discipline and compliance with performance standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, respond quickly, and maintain a structured approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience as a Collections Supervisor, Team Lead, or Senior Collection Agent.
• Experience supervising remote or distributed teams.
• Experience working with automated communication systems and dialers.
• Background in microfinance, fintech, or online lending.
